Claymates Ceramics Studio
We had a fantastic time taking a date night class. The teacher was extremely knowledgeable and supportive, and we ended up with pieces we were super happy with! I would absolutely recommend Claymates to anyone and everyone.

Muckabout Gift Gallery
They offer such amazing pottery classes at such a discount it is honestly insane. I spent years trying to find a good pottery class and couldn't, but here it was at Muckabout.the store itself is fairly nice and you can find a lot of niche things that are beautiful. The big thing here is the paint selection or DIY section, which is honestly amazing.Overall would shop again

Workshop Studios
Wasn’t sure what I was getting into. But the after the personal greeting at the secure door, being walked through the labyrinth of artistic inspiration, a wine-serving DJ with a couple corny jokes, and a quick glance at this repurposed industrial building …. I’m happy to say that I was hooked! Straightforward instruction with gentle but practical feedback from the instructors. I was surprised at how my pieces actually showed improvement over the two hour date. Highly recommend!

Báhoo Studio
I loved my beginner wheel throwing class with Wynnie, who is a wonderful instructor. I learned so much, had a great time, and finished the class with many beautiful pieces. Wynnie also went above and beyond to accommodate a tricky change to my schedule, and made sure that I got everything possible out of the time I had left before an out-of-city move. Highly recommend this studio!

Contacted them to book a time and they couldn't be bothered to get back to me. We went elsewhere.

Báhoo Studio
This studio is by far the best in Vancouver in terms of environment, room for creativity, and kind staff! I took a few classes/drop ins here and have enjoyed it every time, the teachers help explain every step of the way and there’s a lot of laughter and smiles all around. Would definitely recommend if you are a beginner into the world of ceramics as it’s a smooth fun transition into it, or even if you do it already- as they have a lot of different levels and even memberships to express your creativity to the fullest!

Atelier Make
This was a lot of fun, I went with my boyfriend to a hand building class and we both enjoyed it. Julie Ann is patient, kind and fun, and I am happy with my mug and plate. One suggestion is to show some out of ordinary examples for shapes or options for decoration so everyone has a chance for something unique

Had a great experience with my family. Staff was kind and patient with us. We were all able to create a little something thanks to their help.Note: Pottery is NOT easy and do not expect to achieve a complex work of art on your first try. Though they will help you create small bowls or plates.
