1. Everything is overpriced here and the employees are rude, pushy or know-it-alls. I'd rather burn the gas driving to Cabela's than deal with their employees.2. Every time I've been to the gun counter they try and talk me into buying a piece of junk. I know exactly what I'm looking for and they usually try to tell me that I actually want something completely different.3. It's handy as a showroom. If you're in the market for a large item, go browse there, then go home and order it online for a few hundred dollars cheaper.

The ability to try before you buy was definitely worth the trip for us. We had the wrong boat picked out, they found us the right one. Kayak reviews are very subjective you need to get it in the water.

Great location off highway and near lake; friendly operator; nice renovations with locally milled wood. Door was needing rehanging and weather stripping, though, which made the room and floor cold (early March). But still glad we stayed here ;-)

I came here on Canada Day and the staff were very welcoming right away. After my friends found a place in the alley, I could help but choose this business to have lunch. I loved my white cheddar and seasonal jam sandwich. The smoothie was really refreshing and what I needed after conquering two hikes in the morning. They have a waterfront patio! Such an amazing environment and surfer vibes here. Thanks for the great conversation, I hope to be back again!

Dealt with Carter. Had an amazing customer service experience. A colour of the item I wanted was sold out so I was contacted to see if an alternative was fine. Quickly switched my order and shipped the items quickly. Will order from Wilderness Supply again in the future.

I have been using my Tightline K5 Anchor to anchor my kayak for a year and I am very happy with my choice. As someone who brings a lot of gear on board to kayak fish this anchor is perfect. Folded up, it is small and compact, very lightweight which makes it a great replacement for some of the other anchor types I was using. It saves space when not in use and I find myself taking the anchor with me all of the time whereas before using a K5 I would end up not bothering to bring an anchor with me because they were bulky. I love the breakaway feature, gives me some peace of mind that I won't lose my anchor.

Service vraiment pas terrible. Aucun bonjour en entrant et la personne qui était à la caisse (j'avais besoin de trouver quelque chose) ne semblait vraiment pas motivé. Ayant trouvé ce que je cherchais et comme il y avait plusieurs modèles, j'avais une autre question et il n'y avait personne pour répondre. Au bout d'environ 7-8 minutes à tourner en rond, quelqu'un est finalement descendu des bureaux pour me répondre.... Très déçue...

Refinishing an old canoe and stumbled across Boatcraft. Great location and super helpful/friendly staff. Helpful/knowledgeable advice on paints etc and the canoe turned out great! Added to my list of favourites for sure - I noticed they had epoxy products, fiber glazing materials, paddling gear, SUPs, kayaks, canoes etc.
