Snowboard shop

Local for 4 years now and I always get my boards repaired and tuned by the team at Underground.Quick good quality service and great advice.

I was in desperate need of some Splitboard skins so I called Higher Ground and they had the size I needed for my Jones Solution. I then got stuck for 3hrs in an accident on the highway coming into Golden so I missed the closing time of the store. I had very bad cell signal but managed to get through and the incredibly helpful girl offered to drop the skins at my lodge. I lost signal before I could give her my credit card details. After another hour we got out of the traffic jam but the store had been closed for an hour so I messaged the store on Facebook as a last ditch attempt. And surprisingly I got a response. The same incredibly helpful girl was still in the store and said I could swing by to pick up the skins. She saved my day in Rogers pass. Thank you again.

I enjoyed the mixture of being acknowledged and offered help by multiple employees, but being left alone to look around without being hovered over like employees at some stores. Even after asking for help and being shown what I was looking for and answering my questions, the employee gave me space to make my decision without hovering nearby. They also gave us free stickers (which I'm sure they do for everyone, but it was still nice and my kids were excited).

Been to a lot of shops over the years and Schumers is full stop awesome. Ms Peggy was so great with my girls and got everything taken care of. It's old school in there. Solid selection and great great service.

Just bought a new Jones ultra mind expander from Commit. Knowledgeable and very customer focused. Adam and Morgan did a great job helping me through this purchase and went out of their way to ensure I could hit the hill without delay. Morgan, thanks for opening early for me. Best overall experience I’ve had in a while.

Got our first gear from the place.The staff is very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. My wife and I are new to snowboarding but the staff managed to make us understand how to choose proper fits for the boots.The store carries many brands and a large collection of everything. Each of us tried like 15+ goggles with no rush at all.We spent almost 3hrs trying on Boots, Helmets, and Goggles, and the staff were there helping us out!! Superb!! Definitely recommend.

My experience started with a phone call inquiry about heat moulding my snowboard boots. To which the employee stated that you guys in fact offer heat moulding services for snowboard boots but it’s a little busy right now so I’d probably end up waiting around so I thought maybe I’ll come when google says the traffic is least busy which is an hour before closing. I show up and hand my boots to two teenagers they open the box up and look perplexed until an adult comes around the corner. The kids throw my boot to him and say “hey do you know how to heat mold these” to which the guy replies “sorry but it’s too late for us to do this, could you come back tomorrow?” at this point I waited until my next day off to try this again BUT at a more suitable time for your staff. I come back 7 days later between 12-3 pm with maybe 1 customer in the store. I attempt a THIRD TIME to buy services from this establishment. An adult appears and looks at my boots and exclaims, “you have to go to a burton dealer as they have there fancy boot oven” to which I ask I’m genuine shock where can I find a button dealer and the reply was Top of the World which is all the way downtown. *side note they had the same heat moulding equipment you guys do no special oven*I deleted my initial bad review as I thought it wasnt fair but after my third unsuccessful attempt and being told I have to drive DOWNTOWN instead of in my area. The best part is they heat moulded my boots for half the quoted cost by your teenage staff. Thank you for wasting my time and directing me to a retail establishment that would actually assist me in paying for services.I’m giving this review as you guys do sell items and services to some people at certain times.
