Fishing camp

Cute. Stunning lake, especially at sunset. Staff was really friendly, helpful, and laidback. I wasn't there for fishing which I gather is most of the clientele. Sites are really close together so although it's a pretty secluded spot once you get to the grounds it's pretty tight. We rented a cabin and the interior was log cabin cute, clean, stocked amenities, wifi, and satellite tv. Hanging light strands around the site were a nice touch.

This is a fantastic place to bring the family for some rest and relaxation and fun. We had a very good time. Cabins very great and service was top drawer. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The fishing was extraordinary!!!! We limited out every day.

Hi everyone, it’s my first year here, this place it’s relaxing and friendly Atmosphere. People at most campsites are very friendly and welcoming. We are here for a seasonal sites, and also have a boat slips from Dave too. A few strong points when we chose this place are, *waterfront we could see from most campsites and just a little walk then you’re there. We have two dogs, there’s little lope we could walk them or do there business. Dave still doing some renovation around the campsites to make it better each and everyday. He’s sure busy, but when u need anything, he’s be there for you, Dave never let us down. Here are some pictures we could share with you. Come and check it out Spanish River Resort and Campground.

Wow is all I can say about Igloo from the staff to the fishing, I'm a yearly visitor and have been over satisfied, this year was 1st week July and the dry fly fishing was superb in Burton's and was just starting to take off in the main lake. Numerous fish up to 8 plus lbs, I had a good friend who is a beginner fly fisherman and he did tremendous, we had 3 or 4 times we had doubles...Rosey you are the tops....I can't wait for 2020.....Maybe this September??

This lake produce unbelievable beautiful Rainbow trout over 5 pounds. Obviously it is observed a strictly fishing catch & release.

I've had the pleasure of staying at Hideaway many time. Kathy and Doug are great hosts and always eager to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. Accommodation at the camp is very comfortable. There are several cabins spaced out and well situated on the property. in addition there are two outposts for those seeking more of a remote fishing experience.Fishing is flat out amazing on the Clearwater-Pipestone chain of lakes. Trophy Muskie, Walleye, Laketrout, Smallmouth and Pike fishing at it's finest. The chain of lakes is easily accessible and there are marine railways giving boater easy access to Rice and Jackfish Lake to the South and the crystal clear waters of Pipestone Lake to the North.If you're looking for a great getaway you can't go wrong with Hideaway Lodge.

They have two hiking trails for dogs... We took the 2.5 hour one and did it in 3.5 hours. Awesome experience. .. nice challenge. In fact once u hit the summit - there are more lookouts farther along - but we were beat. The park is also continuing to build more lookouts. It is sooooo worth the climb! Ps the park employees were also very helpful.

Berry's Bait and Tackle is top notch in products and customer service. I'm in the US and I will take any opportunity to order my fly fishing gear from them going forward. I had my eyes on some really high quality fly fishing reels for a long time, Berry's had a holiday sale on said reels and I jumped at the opportunity. They handle their customers needs with care and promptness, they communicate exceedingly well and make sure their customers get what they need when they need it, no questions asked. 5/5

The place is tired. The cabin is bare-bones and certainly not mosquito-proof. The shower hut is a mess. The cook shack is a sad place. The fishing for us was bad by Canada standards. Sorry, but find another place to go.
