I really liked the service. We paid them to install some cameras we already had and I was so impressed with all the hands on service. Recommend talking to them. I should have talked to them before I bought my cameras but since I already had them I was lucky they were willing to install it all for us.

Bought a sensor cleaning kit here and tried to do it myself. Got water stain on CMOS. Bought the camera to them and they were really helpful. Helped me solve the problem right away. Very professional.

I called for a iPhone 11 screen repair today and in the same day I got it fixed. The service was excellent. They came and picked up my phone and in less than 2 hours I had it back brand new. 110% recommend.

This place is a lifesaver! I consider Peter a camera magician. He saved the filming of my movie while in Newfoundland multiple times when cameras went down. He got them up and running incredibly fast, and I owe him a huge debt of gratitude. Highly recommended!

I was a little hesitant given some of the reviews on here but I went ahead due to how much more convenient this camera repair shop was to others for me. And I'm glad I did.I got my camera back in about 12 working days even though they had to order in a part. Works as least as good as the day it was originally purchased.Yes, you do have to pay $25 to have it assessed but that payment is taken off the bill if you proceed with the repairs (you may want to do your own research first to see if it is worth repairing before going there). I was ok with that (hey, if you've ever had a technician come to your house for a major appliance, it's way more than $25). Customer Service was good - updates were timely.The shop itself is a bit odd in that you feel like you are going into a dentist office, but that doesn't matter to me too much. At least you know it's clean.

Galaxy Camera has been my go to spot for any of my film/camera related needs since i've started taking photos!The store is truly like a wonderland for photography enthusiasts (film and digital alike)! The store has a wonderful range of stock for all photography needs ranging from developper chemicals, camera bags, filters, camera straps, cameras themselves and more. It can truly be a one stop shop for camera needs and the community the store has makes it even better.I think the main reason as to why this is the case is because I truly have not experienced such caring customer service like this before. Ali is truly a gem and has been a pillar in my photography journey and i'm truly thankful for all that he does for the Ottawa photography community :)

I bought the Nikon D7000 here about four years ago. Good job I bought the extended warranty because while taking a in class lesson the camera just gave up. I had a lemon. I got it exchanged and got a new one with no questions. It is worth the extra money to play it safe. So glad that that camera gave itself up in the store and not while out on a shoot like a wedding. Henry's has a great selection of gear and I no longer have to travel to Toronto like I once did 20 some years ago.

Great service!I came in to see Regan , He was very informative and honest.They installed a high definition camera system in our home after some problems with neighbors.Wow, I am so impressed ! now we can see our entire premises even in pitch black.Best pricing I found after 3 different estimates and very professional service.

I went to get passport photos—trying to support locally owned businesses. There’s no mirror to ensure that you look tidy before your picture, nor do you get to see it before it’s printed. I paid $22 and the photo they took was horrible. I had mascara smudged on my face from winter weather and they didn’t bother to advise me before the photo was taken.Shoppers Drug Mart did a retake for me— 100 times better quality and customer service. Plus, they were at least friendly at Shoppers. I won’t be returning to this store.
