I recently bought a home with a fireplace. I was unsure how safe it would be to use it - so called to have someone come look at and potentially clean (if necessary) my new fireplace. Jim came over and was amazing. Very professional, honest, and went through everything with me and answered every question I had. He spent extra time to show me how to use and clean the fireplace. I look forward to calling him for future cleanings and inspections for my home. I would highly recommend.

Update part 2: we got a call from Sean apologizing for the issues. He sent a couple guys back to put in some molding. Made a huge difference and extremely professional and kind. I love the insert and appreciate all they did to correct the issues.Disclose IF YOU HAVE CATS! We purchased an insert beginning of November 2022. Sean stated install before Thanksgiving and would take a few hours. They came 11/22 and didn't complete job due to missing part. Leaving my fireplace in disrepair for holiday. We had to call several times to follow up. Once, no show, second they came and left immediately due to cat allergy and nowfor third time plus thousands of dollars still no insert installed. We paid for electrician and permit plus paid them in full. Terrible customer service and doesn't respect customer time. I am beyond frustrated at the experience. UPDATE: CHIMNEY CHAP reached out after a few calls from my husband. They said they could be at our home in 20 minutes to complete job. Two guys came and installed fireplace and completed chimney work. My husband said they were nice and professional as well as informative. However no call from owner or manager to apologize or to explain numerous issues. The biggest problem was lack of communication and not keeping appointments. The final product is fine but the fit isn't perfect as we need some kind of trim. Whatever at least it's functional.

We had a negative experience working with Fireplace Concepts. We dealt with Peter and Sheila Haats. We placed an order for two fireplaces as part of a renovation project. First they tried really hard to upsell you on a product you didn't need. Then they decided to overcharge you for the product you wanted and finally decided to cancel your order at the very last minute - leaving you scrambling to find an alternative. Do yourself a favour and avoid these guys! Go to Marsh's!

Non mais sérieux, même si vous êtes manuel, combien coûte votre temps, déplacement à la quincaillerie et les vidéos sur YouTube?!Le coût de la visite et plus qu'un no-brainer, achetez-vous la paix et faites confiance à EFGAZ. Un gars super sympathique et honnête. Il a pris le temps d'expliquer le problème (qui était relié à une pièce rouillé).

I'm very satisfied with the services and repair work performed by J C. Aside from rebuilding 2 brick chimneys that had deteriorated, they weather-proofed the brick on rest of our house.Deciding on who to trust is the hardest part once you make the decision to get the work done. I had 4 firms bid on the work. J C was in the middle for cost, but I chose them based on reputation. I'm glad I did. From the techs, office lady, to the owner, all were very professional and focused on the issues and getting it resolved to my satisfaction. I did experience an issue 2 years after the work was done, and they stood behind their guarantee 100%.I recommend them to anyone that needs brick repair/build or weather proofing done. -John C.

Had a really great experience with them installing an AC unit for our home! Ilidio was kind and ready to help me understand the whole process/answer any questions - and the installation went incredibly smooth. Their price point was also lower than other quotes, which made me a little uncertain at first, but I'm so glad we decided to go with them. Can't recommend them enough from this experience! Fingers crossed that if there are any issues they will be as responsive and helpful as they were during install. Great people :)
