Highly recommended, I was travelling to Canada for my holiday and as a climber wanted to ensure I could sample the Rockies. Via Yamnuska I was able to arrange a great day sampling multi and single pitch climbing. Communication was simple and clear, although they welcome engagement and therefore I was able to refine my ask more and confirm details so I can ensure my insurance covered the activity (something that I'd recommend checking for). I went out with Shaun who was friendly and helpful, making it more relaxed and able to answer any of my questions on the route and area.

5 Stars is not enough to rate our trip as an ExplorerChick group of 10 determined women with varying skill levels. Our super-awesome guides Corinna and Amanda were cheerful, encouraging, goofy and super-inspiring. We felt very secure in their more-than-capable hands. They led us through XC skiing and the uphill snowshoe climb to the Elizabeth Parker Hut with tips on avalanche awareness, winter layering, snack management, impact minimization and technical expertise. I speak for the whole group when I say we were all honored to have met such great and humble women.

I went on two trips with Tom last winter: to Carlyle Lodge in the interior of BC and to Svalbard. The skiing and snow conditions at Carlyle were great and Svalbard was definitely the experience of a lifetime in terms of the terrain, scenery and wildlife. It totally exceeded my expectations. Tom has a knack for picking great destinations and putting together fun, well organized trips.

Tons of amazing and relevant info in the AST2 course, I'm feeling WAY more confident about my decision making and planning in the backcountry now. Really well delivered as well! Props to Judson for taking us under his wing.

We have done 2 climbs with VMG recently, we have never climbed outdoors before, and we are very satisfied with their service. The first climb we did is in light house park in West Vancouver. Before we begin Brent already have ropes and anchors setup, we get to start right away, and we've learnt a lot about outdoor climbing. Also, the sun set view from the cliff is stunning. The second climb we had with VMG is at Squamish, we get to experience crack climbing, it is very different, yet equally fun.

Track Setting 101 course - Judson and Jakob showed us how to climb mountains with ease and efficiency while building corners and tracks. We evaluated terrain, practiced making good, safe choices, and got into some great powder. Awesome course all around and highly recommended.Mike WicentowichTrail, BC

La Liberté Nord-Sud
An amazing experience to complete such an activity. No experience was necessary, as the instructors provided us with all of the relevant training, equipment and supervision.Equipment for this type of sport is incredibly expensive, however, the cost of this tour with all equipment provided, is incredibly good value, and all equipment was in great condition. It was a great feeling to get to the top of the face, and that topped off a great experience.I will be back again in summer to climb the face, and I am sure I will do this again in the following winter.

Had an incredible experience on a 2 day multipitch climb with Brent (and his photographer friend, a strong and accomplished climber herself who takes stellar photos!). Brent proved himself to be a patient, experienced, knowledgeable guide who made me feel simultaneously challenged and confident during the entire trip. He was even willing to share his snacks (!), and found the perfect camp site surrounded by incredible views (and a great water source!). I would not hesitate to book another trip with Brent. His experience, knowledge of the mountains and overall positive attitude made my trip unforgettable and a highlight of my year!

Tom was professional, well equipped and well prepared! The snow conditions we experienced at Sunrise Lodge made it imperative to have a guide with experience to keep us safe yet challenged. Hope to ski with Tom and his crew again soon.
