Food is is not that special. Poutine missed its mark, light on the gravey and cheese curds. Fries thin cut, dry and not hot? Jalapeño poppers not hot but warm cold??They have very little quality Canadian Whisky. They make a big deal about their Whisky collection, yet show little interest, investment or visual display for the depth of our Canadian offerings.Canada has a lot to offer from Ryes, blends to the New Sige Malts coming out. It's sad that Canadians show no interest or pride in our rich history of distillation. Fortunately this is changing slowly.The staff was pleasant and did offer multi sample of beer to find the one that resonated.

I've always wanted to try this fish and chips place for years. I decided to come by on Good Friday for lunch. The place was quite busy and I understand why. Got haddock and chips and cod fish chips dinners.Well I can say WoW. The haddock was very tasty and the batter had a nice crisp to it. The cod fish was also very good, nice and fresh.I will definitely be back to try other fish on the menu and it won't take me years next time.

Great service and even tastier food available at this restaurant. The haddock and chips are cooked fresh upon order, and the portion sizes are well worth the prices. Takeout is available and the staff do a great job of managing pickups. Definitely worth visiting if you're craving fish and chips in Scarborough!

Ordered 2 seafood chowder soup, cod sandwich and chips tonight on the uber eats app.The chowder was enjoyable, nice bits of seafood and small potatoes in a creamy broth. The cod sandwich was put on batch loaf , buttered and thin amount of fish with tarter sauce placed on the sandwich.It was good but thought the box you put it in made the sandwich get really squashed. It looked like a pancakeChips tasted good and they supplied us with malt vinegar and ketchup.Was ok but the squished fish sandwich did not look good. It would be better to use a bigger box so it looks nicer.Overall good food!

After a indepth discussion about Fish and Chips in Toronto there was a general consensus to attend St.Andrew's Fish & Chips. We order the Haddock & Chips and the Cod/ Scallop and Shrimp platter with a side of Mushy Peas & Steak and Kidney pie (not shown). Service was perfect and staff was friendly; I am glad this place survived the pandemic. Keep up the good work. 8.1/ 10

I ordered Halibut and chips was not happy with it. Fries were cool fish greasy, I then had rice pudding which is usually very good, this was more water than pudding. I will not be back. Or get delivery/take out.

I do recommend the place for drinks.they have an enormous list of scotch and drinks to choose from. Great atmosphere.I would strongly recommend the place for drinks and not for food.The calamari has more breading to it that the squid itself.The coleslaw with the fish and chips was really unappetizing and the fries where half cooked.

Outstanding halibut and Haddock with home cut fries. We are going back. The atmosphere was pleasant but it was the staff/owner who treated us so nice. We went with friends and will go back again.I know of one seniors group who are going there regularly and rave about the food.

Ordered takeout since at that time, dining in wasn't allowed. Prices are reasonable. I ordered halibut with fries and a side order of coleslaw. The fish was cooked perfectly. Soft in the inside. The batter wasn't too much or too little. I was super impressed with the fries though. Not over done, some were crispy, some were nice and soft, just a nice mixture. The coleslaw, I was happy I ordered a medium, because it was good. Even had leftovers the next day. I'll admit, the tartar sauce was probably my favourite of everything, but it could be because it's been awhile since I've had some, but it was super good. I got the right amount for my meal as well as it lasted until my last bite of fish. When I first got home and took the package out, I thought it wasn't going to fill me but once I was finished, I was fully stuffed. Stuffed enough that I didn't wanna eat any more fish and chips for awhile. I will definitely be back, hopefully to dine-in one day. This place is definitely one of the top fish and chips places in Toronto. Highly recommended.

They have daily specials. Thursday after 9 pm 1/2 on drinks. Really cheap considering.Oak wood finish … typical Scottish pub design and flareLive music between 9 pm - 1 am as well.Many large screens broadcasting sports.Very loud ambiance but if you don’t mind shouting ….. great!Friendly and swift service.
