Chinese language instructor

7-yo son loves it and has been speaking more Mandarin with confidence and enthusiasm! He loves the in class lessons and the MLP homework as well. We started off only one week summer camp to now weekly lessons. Friendly and supportive staff!

My son has been with PandaMandarin since Covid and at first I was skeptical of learning a new language virtually, especially since my son was 8 and had no prior experience. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and our son is flourishing. He enjoys the classes as they are very engaging and entertaining. They teach children through song and games as well to hold their attention. We 100% recommend!!!!

My son has been taking Mandarin courses with Anna for the last few years, and I too started taking courses this year. Anna is a very effective Mandarin teacher with children and adults. She is always very punctual. Her classes are very interesting, and she has excellent teaching techniques to teach Mandarin both native English and French speakers. We feel very fortunate to have her a our teacher and I would highly recommend her for anyone wanting to learn Mandarin.

I came to Berlitz to improve my French always struggling to learn languages in a group setting. I am thankful for Silvio the corp sales director's patience, charisma for helping students like me succeed. I liked the options given to me after my assessment prior to signing. We looked at group lessons and one on one where it was deemed one on one would benefit me the most.I had amazing teachers who TRULY helped me reach the next level (Thank you Jean Philippe and Capucine). I have opened more doors for work opportunities landing a new job with one of Canada's biggest telecom companies.I would recommend Berlitz to anyone wanting to learn or sharpen what they know in English or French. But you must be serious and expose yourself to the language outside of class post-lessons if it is French or English which is very easy living in Quebec. The teachers are amazing as is their CS whenever questions, obstacles arise. Thank you Silvio and the Berlitz team for everything I would definitely come back to sharpen my French further for the higher levels to land higher work positions.

I studied the Beginner Course 1 with Marcus 老师 and have already signed up to Course 2.For me, the lessons are a perfect blend of grammar, pronunciation and application through puzzles, games and role play. It’s great that there is also often some communal social events taking place before lessons such as mooncake, tea or Chinese wine tasting. This provides a good way to apply some of learning.The course materials are excellent and when coupled with the companion podcasts, the lessons are sticking!Having tried multiple apps etc, in person lessons for me are far better. I’m glad to have discovered Practical Mandarin for this. 谢谢 Practical Mandarin!

My kid has participated in regular Chinese classes as well as the Chinese winter camp at Heyni, and his experience has been superb. Heyni not only teaches the language, but also introduces children to the merits and positive wisdoms of the Chinese culture through very fun activities. Teachers at Heyni are very caring. With their strong professional background in childhood education, the teachers also focus on cultivating great personalities in Children and regularly communicate with parents on observations and suggestions for each individual child and the child's improvements. We are so lucky to get our son enrolled in Renaissance Kids Richmond Campus. We started from Baby program and now in Junior Kindergarten class. The school staffs are so supportive and responsive. The programs are well designed and planed. The teachers are professional and patient. The school also offers hot lunch and snacks, which made my life much easier and my son loves the food so much. Overall, we are very satisfied with RK and highly recommend RK to parents.

Different from other Chinese/Mandarin Schools in the UK. They teach simplified Chinese which is what popular in the current generation. They specialize in teaching Mandarin Chinese! Must take an opportunity to learn here.

My daughter has been attending Panda Mandarin for a few years now (interrupted by the pandemic) and she has progressed significantly with the help of the excellent teachers. We are not a mandarin speaking family so you can imagine how difficult it would be for a child to learn but the school is really dedicated to supporting these children to speak, read and write mandarin. Small class sizes and well trained teachers.We have experienced both the old avenue rd location and now this new location. I recommend it to those thinking about lessons for their children.

My general experience was very disappointing. I reached out to find a French class, I did the placing test , I payed and after they told me that there are no classes for my level, I am still waiting for my reimbursement. Overall it was terrible since the beginning. For starters ñ, it was very hard to reach someone, once I did I kept telling him to call me directly but he preferred the communication by email because I never received a call. Also, they don’t have a price list, all the prices were communicated by email, which I find very sketchy since they can give you any price and it’s expensive. It took more than a month to arrange everything, back and forth emails for a month, for nothing. And I am still dedicating time since I am still waiting for my reimbursement.
