Such a beautiful place if you are going on a trip or a nature walk, it has many ponds, lakes, rivers, sea animals and lots of beautiful views. Also it has a wonderful forest big and beautiful, it has many cool things to do, explore and discover.

Fabulous place for families, couples, dogs, bikes, walking. Lots of places to sit and have picnics.

Great to watch the salmons.

Terrible non-family friendly renovation happened here. The whole interactive center is basically gone and there are only a few cramped informational posts that are hard to even read in the small space. My daughter and her friend were so excited to see the center was open again. They left totally disappointed, shocked and the kids actually cried! It looks like lots of office space for staff, but there is no longer an interactive educational center there at all. The one staff person kept her eyes glued to her computer screen, and when I asked her what the reasoning was for cutting the public space in half and cutting out all the education for children - she said the staff didn't like all the kids running around there as it made it feel like a daycare. Children and families are not welcome here! Wow.

A great little shop selling environmentally friendly stuff and products designed to help minimize waste.The staff were super friendly and helpful with my questions. If your looking for cheap recycling bins or composters, this is the place to go.

Our town is bursting at the seams with wonderful educational places! If you come to our city on vacation with children and you want to explore some of our local animals and vegetation, this is an excellent place to take your kids! If you have kids locally and they are not school aged they have some really fun preschool educational hours. I think you can look on the website to find out the times and dates. All their employees are very knowledgable and sweet with young people.
