An awesome service! I managed to get an ppointement the same week! While others were telling me 2 or 3 weeks.She even made sure I didn't miss work by giving me a meeting in the evening. Disgusting people, you took the time to write an insulting message in english, instead of just translating the original message, the english residents pay to be there as well no? Your company is what’s wrong with Quebec, and i pray everyone moves from your establishment.. i wouldn’t even let a plant live there.. shame on you snakes.

When people are asking for services in english, this is not an option but a right to be served in your native language.They couldn't translate a public notice in english for the english residents, instead they they wrote (IN ENGLISH) to learn french if you do not understand. HOW RUDE.

Is this an appropriate message to leave an 86 year old tenant, that did not understand. Health and Safety should be bilingual, its the law.

Un locataire a demandé a ce qu'une pancarte soit disponible an anglais, car elle est une personne agée anglophone, le proprio a refait la pancarte en francais avec cette note au bas de la page, le tout en lettre majuscules: IF YOU REALLY CAN'T UNDERSTAND THIS VERY SIMPLE MESSAGE, TAKE A PICTURE AND GOOGLE TRANSLATE IT. AND FOR THE ONE WHO IS FRUSTRATED AND STATISCALLY CHALLENGED: 0.5% OF TENANTS HERE ARE UNILINGUAL ENGLISH SPEAKING. DO SOMETHING GREAT, LEARN FRENCH. IT'S SMART, RESPECTFUL, WISE, DECENT ETC. A la personne qui a écrit ce message, il fautdrait que tu commences a apprendre ce qu'est le respect avant d'essayer de le montrer aux autres. le 0.5% des locataires paient aussi un loyer.

The Vancouver Tenants Union has helped me organize my building. I met with my neighbors and we built a srrong bond we still keep up to date. The VTU is great at building solidarity between us citizens during the housing crisis and the Covid19 sanitary crisis. Our landlord is wealthy and powerful, Larco Investments Ltd, they are known to push tenants out with renovictions and leaving the building in disrepair with no functional ventilation ( 19 storeys tower with 170 appartements).My neighbors and i organized ourselves and took a class legal action against them and the VTU provided help and support, and we are all very appreciative and grateful for the Vancouver Tenants Union volunteers.Merci beaucoup!
