Alouette Lake Boat Launch
Ramp and docks themselves are excellent. Crazy crowds on weekends so be prepared for novice launchers and impatient boaters. Dock length varies greatly depending on height of the water that is in the lake. Parking for trailers located up top a steep hill so be ready for a good walk up at the end of the day. New outhouse at the ramp is nice and clean. The parking lot for trailers is big and has plenty of room to enable you to back into spots (Which can be tricky with an unwieldy trailer going every which way but the way you want :). The lake is very busy on the weekends, but quiet during the week. The wind can whip up quite a bit in the afternoon so be ready for a bit of a choppy ride back if you venture up to the end of the second lake. A good alternative is the Stave Lake ramp which is slightly better, but with less parking (and you don't need a day pass).

Sandy Shore Cottages Luxury Resort
Our hosts were wonderful people and very accommodating to my dogs and I. The area is absolutely stunning and if you are into boating this is the place to be. We loved watching the sunset every night from our cabin. The pool was lovely too (wish we could've used it more but it was so windy while we were there). Our dogs loved it as well. Thank you for making a stressful time in our lives much easier with such a beautiful and relaxing property.

Blue Pigeon Resort
Had a great experience at Blue Pigeon Resort. Booked 5 cabins for a weekend with some friends and had a great time. We had a group of 24 people. Staff were very organized helpful with our planning, as well as responding promptly to all of our emails and questions. Guests are required to bring items such as toilet paper, dish soap, and towels and these items were clearly noted to us before our arrival. There is an option to include bedding in the cabins for a small fee which is nice and worked well for us. Cabins were clean and well taken care of. All the cabins we booked included amenities such as a fridge, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, barbecue, and fire pit. The resort grounds were well kept and plenty of space to enjoy the property. Blue Pigeon Resort is beautiful and so are the views on Pigeon Lake. If booking for a weekend, having checkout at 4pm is a nice bonus. We would stay at the Blue Pigeon again and would recommend it for a group event.

Spanish River Resort and Campground - Cabins, Campsites, RV Sites and Fishing!
Hi everyone, it’s my first year here, this place it’s relaxing and friendly Atmosphere. People at most campsites are very friendly and welcoming. We are here for a seasonal sites, and also have a boat slips from Dave too. A few strong points when we chose this place are, *waterfront we could see from most campsites and just a little walk then you’re there. We have two dogs, there’s little lope we could walk them or do there business. Dave still doing some renovation around the campsites to make it better each and everyday. He’s sure busy, but when u need anything, he’s be there for you, Dave never let us down. Here are some pictures we could share with you. Come and check it out Spanish River Resort and Campground.

Easy to find and it's got showers, picnic benches, bbq grill, bathrooms, fireworks, can see the stars at night. Just bring ear plugs for a good nights rest.

Harris Boat Works
I was left pretty disappointed with my second visit to Harris.Last summer, I took the boat in to have it looked at. I was told the ECU was the culprit and that I could get a new one or get the current one tested and repaired. I chose the latter and sent it off myself. When it was tested and confirmed working, it was returned to me and installed. The boat still won’t run.I returned to Harris a few weeks ago. I followed their advice, repaired what they said was the problem (ECU) and when I brought it back this time, they said nothing could be done. In fact, they didn’t tell me anything. They emailed me an invoice without explanation. The recommendation was to take it somewhere else. When I called, they just told me they couldn’t figure it out and for me to pick it up. No charge. No explanation of what was done to diagnose the boat besides “hooked it up to the computer” and they couldn’t figure out what to do with it and gave up on it.I had no time constraints. No financial pressure to keep costs low. I just wanted my boat fixed.

Took my outboard there to get fixed. Ended up making it run worse then before. Must be fun playing guess and check with other peoples money. $950 wasted. Thanks for nothing. Jokers.

Tiffin Boat Launch Park
To charge$10 & max of$50 per day of parking is ridiculous. Guess I won't be supporting local restaurants and shops when I come up here. I guess this is why they do it to deter out of towners from coming here.
