I am a physician and was at first a tiny bit skeptical about the program but within a few days of healthy eating, fresh air and hiking in the beautiful Kootenay mountains and pampering from experienced guides and staff- I felt transformed. In two weeks, I lost 9 pounds, my blood pressure dropped to the lowest normal range it’s ever been in my life and I was able to stop my blood pressure medication. At the end of the program, body and my mind felt strong and clear and I felt ready to tackle the next phase of my life. Finding health and vitality is a warrior’s path and a lifelong journey, and Mountain Trek is the perfect kickstart or refresher course! Enthusiastically rexommended!

This was an excellent place to stay, relax, and unwind. It is situated on a beautiful lake. The hosts were very attentive and helpful with any questions we had. Would highly recommend staying here.

I booked a same day appointment as I was in extreme pain from my lupus. I am giving 2 stars because it was very clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly but for my condition not what I was looking for. My intake was not read as she wasn’t aware of my condition until I mentioned it verbally in the room (although I wrote it down) and I kept asking for more pressure and to go deeper but she stated she did not want to use her elbow and that a light pressure will be just as effective. On her profile I read she specialises in deep tissue and mysofacial but I received a very light relaxation massage despite being able to see how stiff and tight my muscles were. I gave up after several times of insisting that I want deeper massage and simply paid and left at the end. I was in more pain the next day as my muscles did not get the relief they needed and I am sorry to say but this rates on the lowest of the massages that I got. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

My friend has been coming here for massages to help with recovery from a shoulder injury. She highly recommends it and it's been doing a great job helping with her recovery.

We organized a small wedding at the Couvent. It was just PERFECT! You need to have a respectful group as there is some clear and reasonable rules in place for noise as the Couvent as close neighbors and is by a lake. It worked perfectly for us.

The ladies at the front desk when we visited yesterday were friendly and knowledgable. We had a few questions about the property and were checking out the amenities for our future stay.They gave us the full tour of the outdoor Spa area. Can’t wait to enjoy our sessions and the decor was beautiful. Notice the gorgeous Live blooming orchid in the picture.

This was my 2nd time at Reo Rafting. After experiencing the incredible Nathatlatch River (rafting), the outdoor Shala (yoga) and the outdoor eating area, I knew I had to come back. This time we rafted the Nathatlatch (experienced guides make one feel safe), did yoga (on the stage this time; not for a crowd though lol!) and went for the guided hike along the Nathatlatch canyon (the resort's cat hiked the whole distance with us). The food - again! - was really good and the staff super friendly and helpful. The wall tents stay cool at night and the beds are very comfortable. Anywhere you stay, the bathrooms are close by as are the showers. Love, love, love this place. Highly recommend it!

Our experience was good . The food and portion was good . The weather was good so we had the option to sit outside . There are limited seats inside . There are coffeeAnd water in most rooms so it was convenient. The rooms were cozy so it was calm. The massage was nice . It was calm . My sister did a prenatal massage she said it was really nice and peaceful. His name was Ryan . He did the massage really nice and slow not rough . There should be more options of food for the afternoon tea . The bread is from their bakery . It tasted really good . The beef was also very good the beef is also from the spa. There should be more options in the gift shop . Like maybe more gifts options and souvenirs. Overall 8/10

A wonderful experience through and through. A welcoming environment and calming journey like nothing I’ve done before, and being in such a beautiful location out in the lovely country scenery absolutely helps contribute to the serenity of the experience. Helped me to feel present and centered in a way I haven’t in practically ages. Well worth the trip from North Carolina!
