Seafood donburi restaurant

First time in Toronto. Chose this Japanese restaurant and the food is great! We chose 8-pc Sushi set, Beef Don and Nagoya Don. At the end we also ordered the Mucha Cheesecake and all dishes taste absolutely great! Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

False advertising. Portions are much smaller than shown in pictures. You're getting ripped off. I don't recommend. Go to Ajisai in kerrisdale instead for the freshest sushi and reasonable prices.

The food presentation is eye catching, the kind you get at five stars Caribbean resorts,An Aroma of herbs and spices create a flavour that is absolutely delicious, mouth watering having me asking for second.The fried chicken was so good, one for best fried chicken I had in long time, crunch on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside.

It was a masterclass in invisibility, and I almost considered waving a white flag to surrender! To add insult to injury, customers who came in after us were left stranded without any service and eventually walked out in frustration. But did the waitstaff even care? Not a chance! It was as if we were in a parallel universe where the laws of customer service did not apply.Speaking of the food, I was left utterly unimpressed. The cooked dishes from the all-you-can-eat menu were as tasteless as a cardboard sandwich. It was like the chef had taken a vow of flavorlessness, and the lack of effort and attention to detail was painfully evident. The sushi, which is supposed to be the pièce de résistance of a Japanese restaurant, was nothing to write home about. The fish was not as fresh as I had hoped, and the rolls lacked any semblance of creativity or uniqueness, they were as generic as a basic white T-shirt. It felt like the chef was simply going through the motions, without putting any heart or soul into the dishes. It was a sad day for sushi lovers like myself.As if the lackluster service and tasteless food weren't enough, the restaurant itself was an icy cold cavern. It felt like the heat was on vacation or playing hide-and-seek, leaving us shivering in our seats. I have been going here for as long as I can remember… almost a decade! I always order the seafood yukke don — highly recommend! The portions are on the smaller side for the price but the quality sashimi and fresh ingredients make up for it.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Mac and cheese with fried chicken was superb!!! Fresh and made to order, flavorful, plentiful and beautiful presentation. Came from Ajax and it was well worth the drive. A must try, you won't be disappointed.

I tried the classic poke box, and it was fantastic! The fish was very fresh and salmon was well marbled. Crisp, light veggies and the sauces were just right, not too heavy or rich. I got a large and it was a bigger portion than I expected. Very filling and very worth the price considering portion and quality.

It was my first time to visit here and I loved here.They just launched out new menu which is seafood combo. This is perfect for me who loves drinking and small chaser. Also their beef bibimbab was such a great too!Also the staffs are friendly.This place is def u should try!

Very fresh and delicious and the price is affordable. The best high-quality seafood rice bowl in Toronto. More importantly, the service was absolutely brilliant, and friendly. A casual atmosphere and great value for what you're getting. Even got a 10% off coupon after. Will visit again!

Pros:The sashimi is fresh, and the food presentation is beautiful.Cons:The price is around $20-30 for the don,the portions are way too small !!!( they cut sashimi in lots of small pieces so makes you feel like a lot)Not really worth it.
