Mighty Oak Midwifery Care
Our midwife was amazing through the pregnancy and I'm so grateful for the care they provided and the birth was good but after my daughter was born we asked about her having thrush on her toungue we where told she did not have ot but we decided on wanting a second opinion so we brought her to a pediatrician who said she did have it and no matter the feeding plan we followed she didn't gain weight which resulted to us yet again ata pedestrian where my daughter was admitted to the hospital that day as she wasn't gaining the amount she needs she still remains and special formula but the end result was our daughter was taken from us do to not gaining weight

Can’t say enough good things about genesis midwives! Minke and Skye were the most amazing support during a long and difficult labour. Very grateful to the team here for all they do both before and after delivery. Highly recommend to anyone looking for midwifery care.

Burlington & Area Midwives Inc.
I had such an amazing experience with Burlington midwives! Candice and Shaunika went above and beyond anything I expected. They answered my many calls in the middle of the night, provided home visits and postpartum care for 6 weeks following birth. These were all such added benefits to my pregnancy experience. I would highly recommend the Burlington Midwives.

I recieved care through the satellite location, in Airdre, with Jenny. it was a spectacular experience. I always felt heard, cared for, and safe. Jenny always listened and would support you and your feelings, even through things unrelated to your pregnancy - family member death, traumatic experiences etc. She was always there for me - never before have I recieved such genuine care from a medical professional.

Cook St. Community Midwives
I am forever grateful to Ashley and the Cook St Midwives for the exceptional care we received. I felt so heard, respected, informed and empowered through my entire pregnancy and delivery. Ashley was exactly what I needed during delivery (calm, present, caring, validating) and was super available and supportive when helping us solve an issue that came up once we got home.

A Heartfelt Tribute to Midwife Lisa Thacker, FRIBA, and Mary FishReview:I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support and care we received from Midwife Lisa Thacker, FRIBA, and Mary Fish during my sister's journey of bringing her precious son, Ryan Nouri, into this world. These exceptional individuals not only displayed remarkable professionalism, but they also exhibited kindness and compassion that left a lasting impact on our entire family. From the moment we met Lisa Thacker, her warm and reassuring presence immediately put us at ease. Throughout the birthing process, she demonstrated extensive knowledge and expertise, ensuring that both my sister and her baby were well taken care of. Lisa's ability to calm nerves, provide guidance, and offer encouragement was truly remarkable. She went above and beyond to create a safe and nurturing environment, making us feel like we were in capable hands every step of the way.FRIBA, the beautiful Persian lady, added a touch of cultural understanding and a unique perspective to the birthing experience. Her sensitivity to our needs and her genuine interest in our family's background helped create a sense of connection and comfort during an emotionally charged time. Access Midwives
Access Midwives handled my pregnancy and delivery in 2019 with my first child and again in 2022 with my second. Their knowledge and care is 10/10. I decided to go with a midwife ultimately because they come to your home after you deliver, which makes things easier. There were also a few times I needed to be looked at close to my due date and they were able to accommodate a room at the hospital for me, which eliminated me needing to wait in emergency for hours. Thank you Simone for delivering my son this past September!

Midwives Collective Of Toronto
I had such an amazing experience with Midwives Collective. Nicole was my midwife and she was excellent. She's very knowledgeable and informative. I really appreciate the personal connection she established with me; making me feel like she had my best interest at heart. I never felt like just a number. She was always so patient and caring. Leading up to my delivery, she was very attentive and readily available. She really made me feel comfortable and at ease during such a high stressed time. I would highly recommend her to any expecting parent.

East Ottawa Midwives - Sages-femmes de l'est d'Ottawa
When I had my child, I was naïve to think that these women knew what they were doing. Not knowing any better, I trusted them. At the time of my pregnancy, I was assigned a midwife who didn’t have children herself and who was too young to have actual practice, but being unexperienced myself, I continued with them. The midwife who had my file never followed me the way an obstetrician will follow a pregnant woman and the baby. She did very basic checks, such as measuring my belly and taking my pulse. She never looked into deeper thing, nor was she concerned.Once the birth came, I went to the hospital as instructed by them, but once I was there, all they were good for was to register me and to make sure my wishes for my baby and I were met by the hospital staff. When the actual time came to birth my baby, both the midwife assigned to me and the student whom they asked me to allow in, decided that they would go home for a break because they were too tired from assisting other women give birth that day. So I was left alone and had to call family to come be with me. By the time the midwife got back a doctor was delivering my baby.In a way I think it was good that they left when they did because the doctor on call that night was experienced and saw that the baby had the umbilical cord wrapped around the neck so the proper actions were taken in a prompt manner.About three different midwifes came to see me afterwards, I still don’t know what the point of that was other than making sure they would get paid for seeing me. They were useless, dangerously inexperienced and plainly disappointing. The midwife who was in charge of my file is no longer with this group, but I thought that putting a review would help other women make better choices. This midwifery clinic does not guarantee that your birth will be a more beautiful experience.

This was the most incredible experience from start to finish. Idilko, Monique and Daniella were incredible. They are so incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about their craft, and they were so supportive during the whole experience. After the birth, they came to my home twice. I’ve never heard of a doctor in Canada doing that. I switched over from atrocious medical care from a general practitioner and stumbled on this place by chance. It was a lovely fate that led me to them for my first child. I miss you guys, and thank you for all that you do.
