Travel lounge

Good service but can get a lil claustrophobic with the design and on busier days. The coffee station could be redesigned to ensure the aisle and access towards it is not impaired. Limited washroom scope too, so better off to grab a quick bite here And head off to better pastures

This is my first time visiting the international departure Maple Leaf lounge in Vancouver International Airport. I usually fry from Vancouver to other Canadian cities for the European route or the US, so I never had much of a chance to visit this lounge.Like the other ones in the international area, the lounge here is better than the domestic ones in food choices as well as drink choices. It also has access to the Signature Lounge. However, I don't have access to that area. The Chili Thai chicken looks good. However, it tastes quite bad, and I could not even finish it.Overall, the atmosphere is comfortable. I just wish that the food could be better.

I have recently been to the spa and had the Mother’s Day package, courtesy of my husband. And all I can say is wow! The atmosphere is so welcoming and calming, everyone who works there is so personable! They all made me feel very comfortable, and they had clear extensive knowledge of services that they provide! The massage I received was absolutely heavenly and an extra bonus was that it was in the salt room, which really helped me be able to breathe properly again! The facial left my skin smoother than I’ve ever had before! And the pedicure literally transformed my feet!!I will be coming to this spa anytime I’m in need of a mommy day, and will recommend to any person who comes my way!Thank you ladies from the bottom of my heart!

It was quite busy for a Tuesday afternoon at Pearson Airport. In fact, even though the lounge has a large area and variety of seating options, it was so busy that it was hard to find a spot to sit and I was travelling alone.The staff were all friendly and cleaned up fast upon traveller's departing the lounge.Food was good. During my visit I enjoyed an orange juice, grilled chicken, rice and salad. It is buffet style. There were also burger slidders, soup, fruit and a variety of make your own salad options, but I didn't have a chance to try everything. I had two cookies and coffee for dessert. I was happy to find both oat and almond milk as a substitute option for milk, of course cream and milk is also provided. Coffee was by a machine, with different options, black, cappuccino, etc. If your interested in alcohol beverages, I noticed three beers on tap, table wine and a variety of common mixer alcohol choices that are self serve.All in all I would still go back to the lounge, as I have free access through my visa card, and the gate areas tend to be even busier then lounges most of the time. Plus you get unlimited food and drinks in the lounge, which is much cheaper then buying at the airport.Note: If there is a line for the lounge, it's never for very long, since this lounge can hold a fare amount of customers. When in doubt, go for a walk around the airport, there are other lounge options, plus maybe when you come back around the line will be gone. (This is what happened for me).

Very friendly staff. Bought two tickets to comedy show (18€ per person), each of us had welcome drinks and pizza included. Show was fun. There was also possibility to get table closer to stage for 5€ per person and more drinks on the house. Overall had very nice evening, also it was possible to stay and party after the show.

Fantastic way to start off a very long business trip. Food is delicious, drinks are incredibly creative and also delicious. And the service is perfect. Definitely make time to make the stop before you head out to the gate.

We came here too late so we weren’t able to get their course meals :( but the inside is big, their selection of food is tasty, and their drinks are good.

Only hot food items were two soups, but exemplary staff service (especially from Kathy) more than made up for it. This Maple Leaf Lounge (unlike the domestic one in YVR) has an actual business centre with computers/desks/chairs and a functioning printer (the printer at the MLL in Calgary hasn't been functioning in years).

The point of air travel is to get to your desired destination safely and as quickly as possible. In my view it is not to sit in a gilded cage only to hurry up and wait. There is no way a departure process should require 3 hours as recommended. I would far prefer to eat at a Michelin star restaurant of food my choice or eat at home prior to arriving at the airport to anything Air Canada can offer. Please focus on speeding up the departure process and spend less time on the captive meals please? RP
