I needed to get a police clearance from them in order to apply for Canadian pr. I flew from Calgary to Vancouver without getting any appointments. They told me that they are only accepting appointments to give a police clearances on Thursday and Friday. I explained to them my frustration, And informed them that im staying in Vancouver only for 1 day and I must take it in the same day. They were super polite, they listened and told me to write them an email explaining to them my issue and they didn’t give any promises.I wrote them an email and they responded after 5 mins and informed me me come to their office after the working hours end in order to help me to get a police clearance.I went and they have an extremely professional and polite receptionists, and thanks to them because they made my day when they helped me to get an emergency appointment.The employee who was responsible of my application was Gülcan she is the best. She was professional, Calm and helpful.Also the supervisor of this consulate was friendly, He asked me about my nationality and told him im from iraq and he started to speak with me in Arabic. I love turkey, their culture and their people.To get best service from them: write them an email before you go.

Today I had a visit to High Commission of India.Though I really like India but the people working specially the one who served me today I’m sure she didn’t even go to school for a day. Very unprofessional, Unethical and very rude lady. I really wasn’t expecting these much bad behaviour.And this straightly impacts the impression everyone have from India and Indians.I’m really sorry for India that these kind of people represents you.

It was a great experience upon my first visit. I was warmly welcomed at the reception desk. Although, I wasn’t able to take a prior appointment but was pleasantly surprised by the extra effort of staff to accommodate my driving license experience letter preparation request. I strongly advise others to take a prior appointment, to avoid any unnecessary discomfort.

Hi there, they are really awesome and fast. I had a lot of questions about traveling to Turkey, so I emailed them and they answered me about 40 minutes with a lot of details and links. Turkey must be an amazing country.

My experienced was very bad because the reason am non-Canadian passport holder and I applied for Turkish tourist visa for two weeks via online to Turkish ottawa Consultnt office I submitted application online after that I booked appointment I went there and given all documents including passport, insurance, hotel booking, bank statement etc all papers but they didn’t receive my back home passport I said if my visa approved then Do I need to come again to submit only for passport as am living in eastern side from Ottawa about 5 hours drive ? Why not receive it now in case if u refuse my visa then but unfortunately they didn’t receive my passport and said to me call after 3 weeks to given number then I said okay let’s try in that way well after 3 weeks I called the given number of consulate office Ottawa first they didn’t pick my call I tried almost more than 14 times in working hour about two hours then I waited more couple of days and called again on same number and the lady picked my call luckily but talk very rudely said to me wait a few seconds then I was on hold call and about waited almost more half an hour and the staff was talking and laughing which I could hear on phone but they were not talking to me about my visa status then I canceled my call and call back again then didn’t pick again next day I called back afternoon then one guy picked my call and said your visa is approved and come to submitt your passport well I said thanks to you for ur service which I waited a lot & next day I went there again to submit my passport and waited in the waiting room & their service was too stupid and At that time I wanted to go to toilet but the staff member said I can’t use toilet I said omg you guys don’t have any humanity I was so shocked and uncomfortable at that time to submit my passport and it was morning time I said can u stamp visa on my passport at the same day and collect it today is that possible & given me back today because I have to go back home it’s very hard to come to collect for passport again the lady said it’s very busy day so u can collect your passport next day by morning after that I came back home then next day I went there to consulate office to collect my passport when I went there the staff said wait for few minutes and I waited two hour and 30 minutes later the lady who was sitting on table last two hour just using her phone but didn’t give better and professional service to visitors. At the end I want to say to senior officers and ministry of foreign affairs of Turkey kindly improve your system first of all now every country has Evisa service why u don’t implement this update system and secondly give better and much much need to improve your staff in Ottawa and other countries where u have Turkish consulate offices. Great experience. The security staff, the embassy personnel inside, everyone is very nice. It was also efficient once inside and things worked like a clock. I wish the wait time to get documents was significantly shorter, because the actual process in the embassy was short and sweet.

- Long processing time 45-60 days, so better to apply 2 months before your planned visit and you should be OK not to have your passport while waiting!!.- You will not have any update of status of your application during the processing time window.-The only way to contact them is through their email.
