Boxing ring

The coach is fantastic, and the facility is well equipped and clean at all times. It’s laid out well so you never feel cramped and always have space to move. Complete with all the bags you could need, space out back for extra cardio/conditioning stuff, and even a ring. Very fair pricing and great coaching make this the best place to train boxing in town.

I just love this place for my son the the trainer Jesse is the best.

If you want to independently workout this may not be the place for you, even if there’s no classes in the space you want to work out- chances are the space/machine will be taken over by a group of people. Which keeps happening. Even when I triple check the app to make sure there are no classes in the specific area I’m wanting to workout in. I get there’s people around you doing classes, or waiting for that class. Just standing, watching- but it’d be nice to workout in a space that doesn’t have 7 people standing less than a meter away from you kinda making it awkward and uncomfortable for you to do your own thing (which again, there wasn’t even a class)

Super gym

I’ve tried multiple gyms and workouts, and JTI is the first time I’ve actually been able to stay fit (it’s been two years now). I’ve never had more energy and confidence in my body. And I truly believe it’s due to the community and environment Steve and Amanda built at the gym. They’re family-owned and it shows. I can’t express how much this gym has changed my life (I’m the one on the far left in the photo).

Alex is a knowledgeable instructor and his classes are unique because of the one-on-one style to his teaching. Would definately reccomend for anyone who wants to get n beach body shape or develop sound boxing skills.

Terrific expertise, service and advice. Fred and his team came highly recommended and did not disappoint. We will definitely continue to source XOB products as our daughters become more involved in combat sports.

The bootcamp classes are a lot of fun, highly recommend for those who are thinking of trying something new. The instructors are great and provide you with the knowledge to correct your form.

Unfortunately they ruined the gym, used to be the best gym in the center but they removed a bunch of equipment in favour of empty space & the CrossFit crowd, many former members have left.

I have been going to Golden Gloves Fitness for a little while now and there is no concise way to articulate how much I have benefited from my time here. Alex maintains a welcoming atmosphere and ensures that you will not leave this place without having had a good workout. Alex is a great trainer and provides a workout tailored to your needs. Golden Gloves is a great place for anyone interested in gaining self-confidence. As a result of my time here, I am now able to more effectively meet new people and make new friends, which I've really benefitted from given that I'm in my first year of university. Learning how to defend myself at Golden Gloves has allowed me to feel more comfortable walking to class Downtown Toronto by myself, sometimes fairly early in the morning. Academically speaking, I have also seen a significant improvement in my grades since attending Golden Gloves. I find that I am now more focused and able to retain more information when doing my schoolwork as well as less stressed when midterms or finals come around. If you're looking for an effective outlet that will help you maximize your fitness goals, I would highly recommend Golden Gloves Fitness.
