The Sendokan Dojo is a special place. The commitment to excellence and spirit is palpable. I joined the dojo in January, 2015 and I am completely satisfied with the consistency, intensity and safety of the classes. The instructors are open, approachable, and patient. They are also clearly respected by their peers as top experts in Aikido. The students are dedicated and welcoming. If you are interested in Aikido and can get to the conveniently located dojo, don't miss the opportunity to learn from some of the best.

Sendokan Dojo Yoshinkan Style Aikido
Nic Sensai came to teach my grade 8 phys-ed class a month ago, and my students are still talking about it. In an hour's instruction, he took them through some basics of both Aikido and self-defense. The students loved his humour and his passion; they also enjoyed seeing their teacher led around, helpless, by the wrist. Nic is an excellent teacher, in both the martial and school sense. I recommend using Sendokan Dojo for any similar needs.

As a fellow practitioner, I have always admired Martin Sensei as an instructor, and in particular his dedication to getting young people involved in Aikido. My daughter currently practices with the teens class, and enjoys the friendly, inclusive atmosphere, as well as the tailored approach to training. Highly recommended!

Accommodated well despite my circumstances. The dojo was once my safe place. I recommend this to everyone whether new or have past experiences with martial arts, you’ll be treated like you’ve been there for years.

Abundant Peace Aikido & Tai Chi School
Sensei Brad has such great teachings to share. The school teaches efficiency,Safe and Clean techniques. The Dojo is Top Notch in terms of Tatami Mats with a deep foam layer underneath to avoid impact. I recommend this place especially for people in other martial arts to check out the safety and care that goes into helping each other learn in a safe manner. This place taught me deeper aspects of ju jutsu that really helped to avoid injury.
