this school is awesome. My dad is the vice principal as of 2022.

Enjoyed learning at Doon compared to regular school. Great learning environment with the least amount of distractions. I believe the teaching system they provide is excellent. As well as, I felt much more confident with class evaluations. Never enjoyed regular school but I gladly enjoyed learning and working hard towards my goals at Doon.

I found fruit flys everywhere it’s gross and terrible rude teachers

When I first moved to Toronto to begin my teacher career, RJ Lang was the first school where I really enjoyed attending, as well as working with my colleagues and students. Pat Williamson was my mentor figure there, and I echo his statements about the school. I regret that I couldn’t stay longer, because I had a strong connection to everyone in the school community, whether they’d be students, parents, teachers, and admin. Even though the community has changed over time, the fact that people like Mr. Williamson are still there is a good sign, because they help make sure that the school your child is attending is a good school, and they completely value and care about their well-being.

i came here from maillard and your band is sooo tiny add on to your band program. Im so glad i didnt go here. Also people were giving me dirty glares at the school i didnt feel safe (i got glared at in both a i want you way and a i wanna kill you way)

i love MEI its the only school I've known all my friends go there and I love it and if your a new kid no problem MEI you'll find friends in no time.

im at taco bell its ok but these tacos are so dry it feels like im eating a desert but either than that it definitely tastes like what i want it

The bars on the windows really help remind you that this place is a prison. Another great reminder is the frequent abuse from the wonderful staff here; the sneering through windows while students freeze in potentially life threatening temperatures or storms, the blatant favouritism among students that is seemingly universally practiced by all the teachers, the lacking curriculum that in no way prepares students for highschool, and the desperate abuse of power from virtually all staff and faculty who consistently seem to value their rigid and flawed regulations over the lives and well being of their students. Proof of the school's effectiveness can be found in the abnormally high rates of crime perpetrated by students who are often facing serious mental health issues as a direct result of Rocky Lake Junior High. Overall a great place to send your children.

The best place I've been to that sells teletubbies!! There were a wide variety to choose from including brown and black ones. The workers there also were teletubbies and made sure we felt welcome and secure in the building. I recommend visiting and getting the complimentary teletubby meat that they sell, made fresh in the building. Such a positive environment, will be definitely going again at the next farmers market.
