I am a 2nd year student attending Sheridan's Makeup for Media and Creative Arts program that completed my 20 hour placement at this studio. The main goal of my placement was to develop an airbrush body-art design suitable for industry related work that I could include in my portfolio.It was a fantastic experience, Frank was extremely thorough when explaining the creative design process. He helped me think of an appropriate concept as well as encouraged me to research and form a background story. This then helped me create a rough sketch, where I was able to visualize what elements I would include and figure out the overall placement of the design in proportion to the body.When the sketch was finalized, Frank walked me through different airbrushing techniques I could use to my advantage. He also encouraged me to use divergent thinking, where he taught me to think of all the possible ways I could break down and build-up each individual part of the design. For example, Frank suggested to not limit myself to just using an airbrush and instead utilize skills I am comfortable with to achieve optimal results. As a result, I ended up using bodypainting as a base for more intricate parts of the design, then I used my airbrush to add highlights and shadows to create depth.Frank was a amazing teacher and was always eager to help with any questions or concerns I presented to him. After finishing my design and placement, I now feel much more confident in my ability to produce work that is up to industry standard and how to effectively manage my time through a proper design process.If you are thinking of getting into airbrush body-art as a career and want to take your skills to the next level, I would highly recommend carrying out your placement here!

Contacted this place about having some items hydro dipped about 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing back. Obviously not interested in making money, too bad as I always try to support Canadian companies first. I would be cautious now of sending anything to them cause if they can't reply to emails how do you know if you would ever get your items back......Did you consider maybe responding to my email, that you requested I send?

This guy knows A LOT about typewriters of all kind and typing/copying machines in general. I brought my Underwood typewriter to him and he cleaned it as if he had restored it like new. He also sells all you would need for wood turning and has a lot of expertise in any other writing technique. If you’re a fan of writing/typing instruments, the mere effort to go talk to him I assure you will be worth your time. He’s running his own shop alone so don’t expect him to service your machine in a week or so, it will take longer but it’s worth the wait.

Probably the most comprehensive place to learn something, anything about Airbrushing!! The store owners are well versed in the subject very happy to assist you picking up the right airbrush or running you through how to operate your new machine. Well stocked as well with options for all price range. Very please by my experience! Will definitely go back!

Lucy the clown is fantastic! She was prompt with all communication both prior to booking & arriving right on time. She was also wonderful with the kids & knew exactly how to entertain the group of toddlers and older kids as well.Thank you Lucy for putting on a terrific show.
