Barber shop

For those very particular about their hair, I'd say go elsewhere. Had my hair cut and had to cut it myself when I got home because it was uneven. I asked for layers and got basically one length. I havent been here since I was a kid, and now I know why. Worst blow dry, hair was still wet and and frizzy and paid more than I do elsewhere. I'm generously giving 3 stars because my daughter's turned out alright for a basic cut. Not coming back.

Had the same barber twice now and he’s really good at cutting curly hair. Would recommend

I had an excellent experience when getting my hair done at Studio H. From the vanilla chai tea I was offered, to the extremely knowledgable hair dressers (I was taken care of by Heather W), to the outcome of my colouring. My hair was very brassy and unhealthy, Heather was able to bring life back to my hair while still achieving the light blonde colour I wanted. Would definitely recommend!

Lulu is such a sweetheart. I told her my son gets major meltdowns and it gets impossible to cut his hair once he starts crying. She told us not to worry and I was so surprised my Son left the salon with a BIG smile. She is amazing with kids. Will def recommend.

Roots is hands down one of the best barbers in Durham. Gives quality cuts and always get a laugh when I'm the barber chair. You can tell he takes great pride in his work and if you are debating whether or not you should book an appointment, just do it. You won't regret it!

Arrived to my appointement just to be turned around... Not in their computer.... Not impressed. I work in client service as well and would bend in two to accomodate client that my trainee forgot to book... I should have a rebate tomorrow. Will see how that goes......Did return next day for the haircut I needed and had very good service with lady named Marina. Pretty satisfied with the haircut.

I needed a cut for a wedding and just one fellow was available - a new guy just four months in Canada from Damascus, Syria. Had to get one of the other guys to translate for us what I wanted. Excellent job. He’s old school with just scissors and comb and it was a real treat to watch him work. His prep was excellent too. First time I’ve had a cut that didn’t end up with at least a few itchy clippings down my shirt. Much appreciated the attention to detail. I was just visiting from out of province but if I lived in White Rock, he’d be my new barber. I wish I had managed to get his name!
