A priest who blesses wars is no priest but a pharisee, a hypocrite of the worst kind.

St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Sobor
It is a true blessing to be able to belong to this church! Father Anatoly is very kind and just perfect for this work as a pastor and priest ! Service is beautiful ! It is Slovenic liturgy sung by a an amazing choir ! Very dedicated group that give one a rich spiritual experience ! I prefer it to opera and of course it is religious singing praises of Lord jesus Christ! Some of us cannot translate it! But tonality says it all!A very nice congregation of Russian devotees who come with children and it s lovely to go for communion along with them in the que!Downstairs we ha e coffee and sandwiches ! It is a moment to mix with others just a bit !I recommend this church if you are interested in a beautiful worship and listen to a Slovenic liturgy! There are benches to sit , you do not have to stand all the way through! Icons are splendid and you get to light the candles if you wish !I am grateful to father Anatoly for blessing me now since I came back from Belgium in 2000

Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church
The church is beautifully maintained by the priest, and the greenery around the church enhances the feeling of being closer to nature. When the mood strikes them, certain individuals vandalize the property and run harassment campaigns, which forces the church goers to work even harder to keep the property at their highest standards.

Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Christ the Saviour
A truly great and blessed atmosphere, thanks to Archpriest Vasily Kolega who is welcoming, kind, and very positive. Definitely a great church to come to and worship the Lord. One of the best churches I have been to.

St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Church
St. Vladimir’s church is a great place to find refuge from your worldly troubles and spiritual temptations. The services are performed in the traditional Orthodox manner with English being the primary language (some Slavonic). The parish is made up of a wide range of ethnicities (Serbian, Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Irish, etc.) The parish members are extremely friendly and welcoming. The priest is very knowledgable and helpful with any questions you might have about the church or Orthodox theology in general. If you are looking for an Orthodox church in Edmonton that is full of caring people that are all unified in a desire for salvation, I would strongly recommend visiting St. Vladimir’s church. The Paschal and Nativity services are especially beautiful if you are able to attend them.
