Hannah House has given me a second chance at life, without them I wouldn’t be here. I can’t tell you how much I love this place, the amount of support you get from the ladies and the staff is more than I can say it’s incredible. I love this place and if you ever get the opportunity to come here, take it !!

The focus of this review is on Publicly Funded Residential Treatment Centers, not Private Treatment Centers...Ideally people should be able to go to a Publicly Funded facility with a comfortable level of confidence and trust in the service provider and staff as it relates to the process. In Program clients have a responsibility to acknowledge why they're there and to behave accordingly. This logic also applies for any employee who is onsite, on the clock, on-site, or any situation where the relationship would be applicable. It is counterproductive in either position when outside opinions & issues affect abilities to focus on either role and the primary objective of same.Approach it with an open mind and be reasonable about your expectations of yourself and others. Where we are responsible we should hold ourselves accountable. This is fundamental to the foundation that we will depend on. As we grow, develop, and evolve, so does character. Knowing the things we value most and acting accordingly is known as being true to oneself. Be honest, build integrity, and credibility, for the greater good.This review is a blanketed and applies to all publicly funded residential treatment centers in Ontario. This is not Wayside specific.

Do your research there are many more out there these ppl don't care regardless of new MANAGEMENT.I WISH I HADDO NOT TRUST Mr B the Intake/ sign here GUY just sign here do not trust him.Do NOT recommend. This place has lied to gain more Money from the insure to access for services that were NOT PROVIDED. Instead lied and made False claims. I will never forget the day of intake and held ME against my OWN will FOR them to Receive the first payment of 26 grand.You can reply to this review the damaged you ppl caused me is DONE I HAVE NOW BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH PTSD FROM TRAre you going to try and have my review removed....So you reply saying its under new management. Interesting my only option is to submit my claim for the PTSD ATHAT Tr caused and pain and suffering which I just be diagnosed with. Now I have 2 years to claim Thanks TrWhere did it say I attended TR east ???? So you ppl are admmit ingt to it great I will pass this on to my lawyer.

In the summer of 2021 I found myself in the hospital with no where to turn. Praise be to God that a few doors started to open and I found myself at Hope For Freedom. Even though they were full they still made room for me somehow and now over a year later they are still able to support me in my recovery. I am very grateful for the non-militant approach to everything and the grace that comes with it. Thank you to everyone involved with the society!

I would strongly caution anyone considering this clinic for treatment against such course. as others note, they are cultish, but worse than that, the operator of this clinic legitimately does not care about his patients. I say this after having expended a considerable sum of money for these services and come to understand how they operate. you will be wasting your money and, worst than that, imperilling your chances at a sustainable recovery.It is also worth taking note that a high percentage of the five star reviews on this page are from “caregivers” who work for HUM.

So it begins, I have an addiction :( now what? ask myself is it time for me to surrender and accept. The concept is radical and the stigma that surrounds people such as me, is at times very negative. This is all very foreign and frightening at times.The departure to recovery begins. It’s not an impossible task! It’s all made very comforting and forgiving at this beautiful little slice of paradise I’ve become very fond of called Sunshine Coast Health Centre or as most clients and alumni call it (SCHC)This is recovery training at its finest caliber. It’s cognitive approch is an amazing and highly effective approch to nip addiction once and for all. All staff seem to take that moment to ask if one’s having a good day. I can’t help but give them a big smile and reply yes.I’d have to start my thank you’s with client services. For their twenty four hr alumni support phone line. If it wasn’t for the angels who monitor this line. I may not have had the courage to get here!Also for all the other great things they have to offer. I won’t give them all away you’ll have to do some research for yourself :)Next in line is the intake and the most lovely and warming rn’s you’ll ever come across. These fine people stabilized me and had me comfortable day and night in there brand new and very very stress free detox centre. That leads me to house keeping. (SCHC) is one pristine evrioment very well kept. Rumor has it there is a member on the night staff that makes the most amazing double chocolate cookies if you ask nicely...;) you all know who you are. Thank you :) yard maintence thank you for keeping that pool warm and ready for the nightly volley ball match as well the wood pile stocked. A lot of laughs and tears shared around those fires.If a client is lucky you might even get a glimpse of the elusive man in the paint covered slacks. who is this guy?!? Lol...Ok down to business. The straight goods the counselers and doctors. This is where the real magic happens. I’m not sure how they aquire them but man professionalism of the finest and highest quality. this is not and understatement. Words can not express my gratitude.So it’s the end of the day my mentle cup is full time for some fine dinning great food and excellent kitchen staff....one can even go abit further. How is this possible you find yourself asking. Well with a trip to the ozone bubble followed up by laser treatment or you may just want to visit the on site RMT all very great and respectful People.I look forward to becoming an true alumni and sponging up there after care program. Because my time is done. doesn’t mean they stop there.Thank you to the creator of this facility. it takes truly special people to devote there time and care into a concept of addiction treatment such as this.To many and more....Thank YouJeffrey B.

I went through the house almost a year ago, and now i work there! Westminster house saved my life! The staff really helped me on days that i just couldn't do life anymore on my own. It really helps that all staff are in recovery. Ive been to other treatment centers where the counsellors were not in recovery and had no real life experience with addiction and i couldnt relate to them and to be honest i couldn't take them seriously. Westminster house showed me how to build a strong connection with other women and helped me manage other relationships in my life. Westminster house also provides a family program, which my family is a part of. My family has been a part of this group for almoat a year and yhey have learned so much. It has saved our family. Im.so grateful for all the help i continue to get on a daily basis from them. If you struggle with addiction i highly recommend getting the help through them. They have ahown me that my life is worth living today!
