Southwestern restaurant (US)

Like most places in whistler, the food was expensive but the quantity didn’t really do the price justice. Nevertheless the food was still great, the tacos had juicy meat and fajita vegetables were cooked perfectly, with a good topping of cheese. They did however give us sour cream and guacamole which they proceeded to charge extra for.

This is a great place to come and have a good meal with friends and family. Really great customer service. I had the single piece fish with waffles fries and corn bread and it was really good. Definitely a place to try if in town.

It was soooooooo good. I loved the food! I'm very hungry and their food really filled me up! I will be visiting again!

There was no one else in the restaurant when we arrived, kitchen crew was messing around and didn’t wait on us for awhile. We had to ask for more ingredients in our tacos as there was next to nothing in them. Dining room was fairly clean. As we were finishing up our supper the kitchen crew (3 of them) walked around the building and stood right outside the door smoking. Not impressed.I would recommend choosing a different Taco John’s in Great Falls.

I waited in line in the drive through for half an hour to get my food. I was trapped in the drive through, could not just give up and leave to go somewhere else. The person at the window said there were only 2 people working. If you don't have enough people to run the restaurant, close it. My boss doesn't allow me to come back from lunch late just because you are short handed. I really like Taco John's, but this visit was terrible! I had to scarf my lunch down just to make it back to work on time.

The food is very good. The service was quite quick. The service lacked energy and personality. The portions and prices are reasonable. The decor is obvious plastic and fibreglass stone. The 9 o'clock closing time is a tad early.Really not a bad place, but it doesn't quite meet the expectations stated on the website, or the initial fanfare. Good... but there's room for improvement here.

Great casual lunch spot.The service was friendly and prompt. The vibe is casual and makes this a good spot for breakfast or lunch.We had the perfect lunch (half sandwich and soup) and the quesadilla. The food was tasty and reasonably priced.This wouldn’t be on my dinner list, but a great place to pop into after a hike or as an apres ski.

The ground beef is the weirdest tasting I've ever tasted out of a taco they serve me two sides to guacamole and one of them didn't have enough to about a dime size in the bowl I had to go in and make the correction and they had a attitude I hadn't eaten at Taco John's in 4 years because of the same thing go right back another 40 years sorry Taco John's Taco Bell has you be need different employees

I got scrambled egg and potatoes for breakfast.Nothing really stand out. Potatoes was under seasoned in my opinion. Service was great tho!Food: GoodAmbiance: GoodService: Excellent$$

I recently had a fantastic lunch at The Mexican Corner Restaurant and was blown away by the authenticity of the dishes and the exceptional service provided by our server, Poppy.From the moment we were seated, Poppy made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us excellent recommendations for our meal, including the most popular dishes and her personal favorites.The food itself was nothing short of amazing. We sampled a variety of dishes, including tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, and each one was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful.Overall, we had a fantastic time at The Mexican Corner Restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food. Poppy's exceptional service only added to the overall great experience, and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
