County court

For the past week I have tried to pay a traffic ticket online. The system took the ticket number but says it can't be found. So on 30 Nov '21, I called to see when I could come in to pay a traffic ticket at the Didsbury Prov Court. I got a recording that told me to get a pen ready. I was given info about court appearances and a number to call in Calgary, with a warning that missing a court date could be followed by an arrest warrant. No mention of how to pay a traffic ticket. Covid 19 is an excuse for every disservice they can think of.

Horrible experience over the phone. Customer service was rude and insulting. I needed assistance and clarification with how to proceed with my issue, waited 30 mins only to be met with arrogance, insults and attitude. Keep up the understanding and helpful assistance, it really helps out a stressful situations.

Only visited to use EV charging. Access was blocked as not yet plowed 24 hrs after snowfall. Rest of lot was clear and only damp.

Way too slow!! Our lives are on hold while we wait.Definitely not 6 to 8 weeks.May, 2023: I am still waiting for an estate probate process to finish that was supposed to take 4 months when it started back in November 2021.I have leukemia and thankfully I am currently in remission but, in the meantime, I still have to take prescribed medications which are very expensive (over $1,500 per month) and my inheritance will help me very much to be able to afford these medications which, for me, make a difference whether the leukemia becomes active again and I die or, if I continue to take the meds, I can still live my life. In my humble opinion, the courts don't care.End of May - Just had another series of tests including blood tests for my leukemia. My doctor advised me that he will have to give me stronger medications which will cost more than what he originally said he would have to prescribe. I CAN'T AFFORD THESE MEDS on my income even with a health plan. My lawyer has done all the paperwork and I have signed whatever was required so why can't they just finish the probate? My inheritance would greatly help me, especially to prolong my life so that I have more time to do things I want to do while I still have time left.

Justice does not exist at this court house. Months to receive any response, unreasonable and unethical behavior.

Drove an hour to dispute a ticket, might have been the busiest Friday as the line up was insane. What a joke...judge barely stopped talking long enough for me to answer yes or no. Wasn't given the chance to explain. Let down by our justice system once again! Beware if you are having to appear in this court.

Wasted time and money many times showing up to find out they didn’t schedule the court date properly or double booked. Takes ages to get signed orders.

I have to ticket and planning to go for a court to fight my ticket for being not guilty, officer gave me ticket with this adress and it shows its temporary closed!! Really, what do I do now? Where is my right. Court is closed and no one answering phone calls where will i go? They just want to give people tickets for not seeing a judge ?? And they want us to pay wow! Alberta is always Alberta. No right, no one to figure out. So even police officers is telling me to go to court and its not even open during covid. This is ridiculous. Very bad service!!!

Visited the 8th floor Civil Intake Office a few times, staffs are nice and helpful.One man from Civil File Room on the same level is absolutely awful. Lost affidavit of service and claimed not his fault, never talk to visitors until he noticed you stood for too long, acted as arrogant and stupid. MAG apparently hired the wrong person for this position.
