Afghan restaurant

Was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It seems to be a family run business and the owner is a very friendly lady. The interior has Afghan style seating which is very ornate and feels fancy yet cozy at the same time. It also has regular tables and chairs. Food was fresh and they also served us complementary black tea at the end of our meal. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Afghan Flame takes great pride in the food they serve and their attention to detail on the presentation, portion, and overall flavors of their various dishes.I ordered the platter for two. The meat was cooked to perfection. The portions were very generous, flavourful and it was more than enough food for two people.I had the banjan as an appetizer. It was flavourful but I feel the dish could have used a little more salt.Although the service was good for the most part, the main platter took about an hour to come to our table. I understand this place is still new so I will give them the benefit of the doubt here. Rayan was our server and was very attentive, courteous, and exceptional in the service he provided us.Overall, a great experience. I definitely recommend!

Great food...seriously. Amazing seasoning family friendly. I have three kids ages 16 months, 6 and 8 and the treated them like kings. Great guys, great food, passable atmosphere. Parking is the shits but that's downtown Red Deer.

Delicious food, large portions, very clean, friendly staff

Couldn’t give a higher rating for this place. The food and service is second to none! Their prices for their portions are also so great given a lot of other places have increased their prices. Highly recommend eating here for take out.

I ordered Uber eats. Harati kebob meal. Never ever have I seen a chicken breast so tiny and cut into 4 pieces only. The salad has one slice cucumber and one slice tomatoes with rough cut lettuce and that's supposedly a salad. This looks so discouraging and very wrong. A waste of $23 dollars. And the worst part of this experience is the dude answers the phone and says cause of Uber nothing can be done. I was willing to leave my home and still nothing. I used to like this place but has gone downhill and I strongly recommend to others there are many other places with way better food. Very disapointing and very sad also...be smart people and read reviews because it makes a difference. Stay away from this place

Tried this place for father’s day lunch, glad we did. Food was really good. Had various kebabs and all were near perfect. The pakora was good on its own, but the chutney gave it that good kick! Kind of a hole in the hedge place, might not have known it was here if we didn’t set out to try something new. Highly recommend eating here!

service is slow, portions are small, complete disappointment after waiting 1 hr 20 minutes when we live 10 minutes away. delivery guy is extremely lazy and we will never order or visit again. wish there was an option for no stars. should have chosen osmows and will next time

I don't even know what to start with. I have no idea how people describe the owner, Riaz, as someone friendly. I experienced nothing except rudeness and arrogance in the way he talked. He has no manners whatsoever!!! I don't really care how good his food is - not ordering from him!!! Period!!! Riaz needs to take a course in customer service, for sure!!!

It was really delicious and the waitress was really nice and patient which we really, appreciated . We will com back in, the future !
