Public health department

One of the WORST service experiences. Restrictive hours of operation which don't match any working person's needs. Won't email or snail mail any documents to you. Bad attitude over the counter from the 'worker' in front of you. No suggestions whatsoever for help or a solution to a most routine everyday kind of request.... what an abomination of provincial governmental / health authority non -service to its citizens. And we all actually pay for this level of non-assistance?! Good grief, could this system of public health unit 'service' be designed to be any less effective to citizens. Not the least bit useful in any way.

Called them in regards to a high dose intake of ibuprofen - extremely patient, thorough and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My experience at the Speers Travel Clinic was a very positive one. The consultation session was helpful and informative, so I was able to make informed decisions about which vaccinations I needed for my upcoming trip. The doctor was very professional and friendly. I would definitely return to this locality for future travel-related health matters.

Super friendly staff! So nice walking into the office and being greeted by the lovely ladies at the front desk. Everytime I've gone in it's been a pleasant experience.

Disgusting management combined with unscientific policies to push both, to the public and to its employees creates the mess this institution is right now.

This place is a blessing in disguise especially for new mothers. The support provided to me at the hospital, home visit and at the clinic itself helped me breastfeed my little newborn successfully. I have mainly been helped by Dana and Jessica and the personal attention and care that these nurses provide is beyond description. They are extremely warm and a pleasure to meet every time. I love visiting this place for the confidence it has provided me in my journey as a new mother and there's always something new I learn every time I visit - about feeding techniques, healthy weight gain, baby's fussiness, etc. Even my baby enjoys being there - the ambience in the rooms is so comfortable that even she will feed like a champ when there and loves to explore the lights, posters on the walls and talking to the nurse. Highly recommend this place to all breastfeeding mothers.

The people who deal with covid cases are a joke- trying to get information from them was ridiculous, every person passed you off to the next person so they didn't have to answer your questions.

March 2 2021.....I was notified yesterday March 1 2021 by Maple Grove School that my son has been in close contact with a confirmed positive caseand I will be contacted by the health unit for further instructions and here we are the next day and nothing. What do we do? This is awful, zero guidance. I called all day yesterday and could not get through. Why is there not 3 shifts to make a 24 hour workday, hire more people so more can be done.I guess that's the government for you again no help.UPDATE....just got a call today March 6th....better late then never.
