Border guard

Called twice and now they sent me to a website to fill out paperwork to see a loved one before they pass. Asked for lead times and they didn’t know exactly. Thanks Canada, making someone fill out paperwork before they can see a loved one about to die. The absolute worst.

A very professional security company. They were able to dispatch their guards in less than an hour as promised. Their guards were fully uniformed which I really liked. I would definitely call them again in the future.

Had a two hour wait to get thru to return to US. TWO HOUR WAIT. US. Border agent Blumenthal was extremely rude, arrogant, and condescending. He sent us to secondary screening which was another 30 min wait for them to tell us we were good. It’d be so nice if they treated people like humans instead of criminals. The way they do things is completely ineffective at keeping our borders safe. It is only used to harass law abiding and safe citizens.

Called department recently and “general desk” phone operator was unessesarily rude and extremely unhelpful.

I got a beef with our boarder guards. Especially at the Airport.For the most part, I've encountered many due to a previous role that I travelled for. They were just fine.It's the late night arrivals (by air and both times at the Vancouver International Airport).This last particular time my wife and I came through from Puerto Vallarta, had to pass through customs to catch our connection back to Kelowna.In a friendly way, as we were called to the customs officer (there were two on shift as it would appear - only one was dealing with travellers) my wife said hello in Spanish to the gentleman, who doesn't know the greeting Hola'?This guy, couldn't have been MORE rude and disrespectful. It was like he was TRYING to bait me to be confrontational. He was adamant that he only speaks English and French, however can't speak French and would get us a translator. Excuse me? He was VERY rude about it meanwhile wasting our time as our connection was very tight.He finally let us through, but what a crock. I've been hassled more times coming back into my own country, than I have abroad.Shame on you CBA! Do better.
