The ability to try before you buy was definitely worth the trip for us. We had the wrong boat picked out, they found us the right one. Kayak reviews are very subjective you need to get it in the water.

This was lots of fun, It's a lazy ride for the first half, seems to take a fair amount of time to make it to the half way point then it seems to go faster from then on. Pick a hot day and bring drinks and snacks and a garbage bag to keep the river clean and enjoy.

I floated last weekend and Pinawa Float and Paddle never disappoints. I have mobility issues with having a bad ankle and knee from a car accident, their staff was quick to help me in and out of the water, carried my tube down and gave me close parking. 5 stars just isn’t enough for their hospitality. This Boat Ramp is very busy during the Summer months. Lots of people launch their rafts to float down the Bow River from this boat ramp.

This is an excellent public boat ramp for canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing boats. Parking and toilets are available.A raft rental company also operates here in the summer.

What an amazing day rafting down the Elk river in the East Kootenays! The day started with a great safety briefing which helped get rid of some of the nerve's. Our guide Jeremy was brilliant from start to finish.I've rafted a few times and this was by far the best combination of experienced guide, quality equipment and great location.Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about checking these guys out.Thanks again!!!

We had the opportunity to book a white water rafting trip down the elk River. Our owner and guide Blair was awesome great sense of humour and tons of knowledge of the area and the rock formation around us as we toured down the elk River. We went looking for trout as he knew pools in certain spots where the fish hang out. We stop the third of the way down and had a delicious lunch and dessert followed by some cool beverages lemonade and water. They followed all Covid rules and regulations even in the back 40 they had their plexiglass wall separating as they made sandwiches for us. This is extremely tough and kudos to the staff at Canyon Rafting company for keeping everyone safe and having a really good time. I highly recommend booking with them and possibly going a little earlier in the summer. We were lucky they got some rain the week prior so it brought the water level up which made for a little faster ride. The rest of the guides all had a great sense of humour and everyone had fun. Had an amazing 3 hr ride there yesterday. Staff was super friendly and professional. I felt completely safe the entire time. Jason was a lot of fun to ride with. He loves his job, and it shows. Hot showers and hot chocolate after getting positively drenched were the cherry on top! Would recommend to all.
