Scandia Eastern Irrigation District Museum
We came here because the engine was overheating, and we had far yet to go. Bought some ice cream at the gift shot too. It was a good time. The buildings at the museum were very old, but were well maintained. Was it worth the trip? For the grand sneer, definitely not. For the enjoyment of the outdoors and a nice walk? Definitely. For the old buildings present there? Maybe. Considering how disrespectful I was while I was there, it is not surprising I did not receive the best of service. Overall, it's hard to give them a review other than five, as there was just no downside. Also: the ice cream is very good. 10/10. Would recommend.

Don't think there are many places where you can climb aboard one of those old but not that old small-medium ships. Oh, and make time for the trail in the back, it will put a smile on your face redescovering the kid in you.

We were not lucky enough to get in due to Easter Monday though we go around and took some pictures from outside. Still able to capture some beautiful memories on this sunny and beautiful day. So we didn't get the feeling of marine museum. Anyone making trip to this beautiful museum, make sure that you enter in and get the feeling of maritime.

Village Historique Acadien
We planned on walking through this in half a day or so and instead spent SIX wonderful hours wandering around! It is a huge site, but so well organized with bathrooms, sitting and food stops along the way. It is a walking or scooter intensive site. Each person in their own character was wonderful. Most knew incredible details about so many different aspects of their house/market and could tell beautiful stories. We learned so much about the Acadian people through time and it was an incredible experience! Definitely give yourself enough time to do this properly. The MOST impressive part of this entire experience was the live demonstrations of old fashioned techniques. This site is self-sustaining - they make they’re own butter, cookies, doilies, dishcloths, mocassins and buckets (etc). INCREDIBLE!
