I had a very bad experience working there as a customer service agent. You will have to work on Christmas eve and no vacations are allowed during your first year. It's only in the second year where you're given one week break. On top of this, the company is extemely disorganized with emails and follow up calls. I had a feeling i was aiming to scam retailers but in a legal way. I definetly do not recommend working at imperial tobacco

One of the most disgusting customer service you can imagine. They send you more than what you ordered and withdraw money right away from you bank account then you are stuck with it as there is no customer service after. Another thing they are practising is every December they call you and trick you on ordering a bundle and then regardless of what do order, they will send you what ever they want and AGAIN withdraw money right away from your bank account and make you stuck within a situation with no solution for it. Then you have to call them 100 times to resolve the matter. And good luck with it.....

Most arrogant, disrespectful, disgusting and crazy greedy company. Stay away. They suck. CustomerCare sucks. This is the great example of monopoly in Canada. Hopefully this monopoly ends one day and it’s fair market.

I found the reviews of the company are sooooo bad! I shoud search online before I applied the company's position! I have to share a bad experience about applying a position of the company on indeed. Last month I applied an Brand Ambassardor position via Indeed, after several days, a recruiter sent me a template group email that asked me to answer 3 basic screening questions which I had answered when I submmited my application, and asked me to register on their website and apply the position again.I do believe the employer of the company didn't review my resume and application, and the employer is a soooooo unprofessional one. I really felt very unhappy and angry about the employer's behaviours. So, I replied the email to told them I have answered these questions you are asking

Double, tripple or even more billing on the invoice amount, very frequently send out gigantic numbers of wrong orders on quantity, all the time without customer consent and reversed solution, if you think they are trustworthy as a so called big company, I have no comment and wish you good luck. I would rate them a minus five star if that could be an option.

HelloI am writing today from the perspective of a retailer selling Imperial Tobacco products. I would like to issue a warning for all independent store owners to be very careful before entering into any agreements with imperial. They introduce new product lines, such as Vype, ask that you carry their full line (cost is thousands of dollars) with the promise that it is guaranteed sale and that they will credit your account for any returned (unsold) products. This is not true. They also apply shifty marketing like offering independent vape shops free units to give to their customers. Imperial did this because the vape shops were hesitant to get on board with vype due to the low profit margins of their products (understandable). Imperial does this all while charging traditional retailers not only full price for the product, but then asking that the retailer lower the sale price to below what the retailers initial cost was previously because Imperial realized their price point wasn't selling. Then Imperial says that going forward the price will be lower meanwhile you, the retailer, are out of pocket the difference of the initial purchase. All the while the vype products themselves are inferior to the competitors products so the retailer gets stuck with them.Example;Retailer buys Vype Epen for $37 in February to retail for $45 (poor margins)Imperial realizes that products aren't selling in say, June, and asks retailers to lower price to $20Imperial expects retailers to absorb the $17 cost-price-point loss saying that 'don't worry you can buy them from us for $15 going forward' for a product that never sells.Imperial then offers the Vype Epen for free to independent vape shops in an effort to get people the device and therefore hooked on their refill cartridges (pods)When the time came for me to process a return of the products the courier took the products to the wrong warehouse (an RBH warehouse ironically) where, by good fortune, my RBH rep happened to see it and let me know so at least I was able to go and retrieve the otherwise lost return. Imperial tobacco says that the product return window has now closed and that in order for the product return to be processed my sale representative has to give his approval. My rep tells me that that's not the case and the return approval is hung up by his head office. So either the head office is lying or my rep is lying but the one thing I know for certain by this inaction is that nobody in imperial tobacco cares about independent retailers. If they have processes to do on their end that is understandable for such a large organization but the right thing to do is to take back the products and credit my account and sort out their issues at their leisure. Not leave retailers out of pocket with no resolution in sight.I realize that customers demand many Imperial products but I would highly recommend not signing up for any retailer agreements and simply getting your imperial products from the wholesaler as you need it. They will ply you with price reduction offers if you buy direct from them but if they don't process returns the flimsy $1.50 off per carton gets eaten up pretty fast. In business ones reputation is everything and this extremely frustrating scenario will make me question anything that Imperial Tobacco representatives present in the future. When honourable people make a commitment they honour it.I apologize for the lengthy review but retailers should know what they are getting into with this company as they are not transparent, do not act in good faith and are not to be trusted. They only want you and your staff to act as marketers of their product due to Manitoba being a 'dark market' for their products.Good luck to all small business owners everywhere!

The rep came into my store and made a huge mess reorganizing his vype products, he opened a huge amount of my inventory to display it even when we already had the same kind exactly (with the same amount of nicotine). At the end he didn't pick anything up from the flood, he just left everything told me he had to go and just left a huge mess. I'm not letting this guy in behind the counter while I'm here. Bad service, bad rep and very pretencious

I'm a small business owner of a franchise. This is the by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. They use unethical tactics as they have most of the market share and threaten to charge you more then your competitors with contracts, if you don't follow their unreasonable rules.

Never seen a large company so unorganized. Try's to controls markets can't control themselvescan't get orders correct ,double billing customers, doubling orders without customer consent. etc. The poor area rep has been having so many complaints he's disconnected his phone.

Imperial tobacco has no management and a bad delivery company. The delivery company Loomis Express" posted fake reports all the time but the head office of Imperial only trusts Loomis instead of the customer even if Loomis reports that my store is closed every day that is why delivery is a week behind. The salesperson and territory manager may give up control of the delivery company. The head office always told me to send an email to Loomis when I called them. I never saw management like this. For the biggest tobacco company in Canada
