Amazing food, very good price for quantity. One of the best middle eastern lamb and chicken I ever had.

As im a huge fan of mandhi . I was looking for a good spot to have mandhi , do finally i came to know about this place . Food was good . Thing i didnte like was the waiting time . Otherwise its a good resturant .

Such unique and delicious food! First time trying cuisine from Yemen and loved it! Tried the Yemeni stew and it was amazing. The way they served it in the stone pot was so unique and it kept the dish nice and warm for a long time. The accompanying bread was also so delicious and different than any I’ve had before. Chicken dish was just at tasty and it had a nice balance of elements! The woman serving us was very sweet and helpful. The interior is nice and clean, but there’s limited seating. Highly recommend!!

I recently visited House of Mandi in Calgary with my family, and while we enjoyed the food and overall experience, I was disappointed with the billing process. During payment, I was not given the option to add a tip, and later discovered that a 15% gratuity had been automatically added to my bill.This incident made me feel offended and underestimated, as if the waitress assumed I would not give a tip. It is important for businesses to treat all customers fairly, without prejudiced assumptions about their intentions.I hope that House of Mandi addresses this matter and provides appropriate training to their staff, promoting equal treatment for all customers. Respect for diversity and personal choices regarding tipping should be a priority.Overall, I believe House of Mandi has the potential to provide exceptional service, and I look forward to seeing improvements in the future.

Very nice Yemeni food , nice atmosphere and vibes. Staff are friendly and helpful. We were a family, so we chose a platter for 2 and other different dishes. All was great.

We headed to this place after a movie at the Cineplex. The indoor decor and music choice sure had a Middle Eastern touch. I ordered the Madhbi chicken which had a crispy outside texture like it's fried but it's apparently cooked on lava stone. The insides were well cooked and I could easily get the meat off the bone without a knife. The rice was mild but a bit on the dry side. The two dips were also nice and pretty much on the mild side of things. The portion was quite filling too.

It was on point.My recommendationFor the sit down seating, my advice is to remove that large table in the middle and use just the floor cover (سفره) or a small table. It would help to have enough space and comfortable seating.

Food is amazing but if you are an middle east person you will love the rice.If you are an Indian you will love chicken.Freshly prepared and served.Good one! Give it a try if you are staying around Waterloo.

Went there for the first-ever time. Yummy...mmmmm I loved the flavorful laham mandi ". Good quantity of succulent lamb shanks spread over flavoured Basmati Rice. The Yemeni owner is an amazing person too. The decor could be improved.I drank the famous Arabic coffee later which helps digest the food."

Wow I was surprised at how delicious it was! Every dish we had was freshly prepared and full of flavor from the homemade bread chicken and lamb with fried onions, ransens and almond.The staff was very friendly and kind to us,Great food and service overall!I highly recommend it!!
