A community that asserts loving kindness in human relations and respect for human rights. So wonderful to join. The people are welcoming and accepting. I can find personal/spiritual fulfilment here, with the full freedom to determine my own beliefs and path in life. I can learn more about the world, make trusted friends, and work towards good causes. Bonus - the main hall is a beautiful room to be in.

Great place to visit, you should try it out

I was here for sad reason being a funeral. I have never been in a Unitarian Church before and what a lovely place, very simple but the pastor was so kind and the people as well. It was one of the most beautiful celebration of life/funeral I have been to and it left many with tears and smiles in the end.

A non-denominational legacy in Winnipeg. The church's long history of welcoming, community and global service and outreach efforts are an inspiration for anyone seeking a spiritual haven and a counterbalance in their lives to our overwhelming narcissistic and materialist society.

Very nice place to spend a non-doctrinaire sunday listening to beautiful music and a thought-provoking sermon. Often they have a soup & sandwich lunch followed by a guest speaker talking about something interesting.

First Unitarian Universalist is a great church they are LGBTQ+ friendly

I married my husband here June 15th, 2019 and I realized I never wrote a review!!! I still have people complementing the beauty of the church in our photos almost a year later! My parents married here in 1997 and it is still just as beautiful. My family and my husband's family are not religious, this church is very accepting of ALL types of people- religious or not.We met with our officiant, Alex C., months prior to our wedding to discuss what we were looking for in our ceremony. He also asked a few questions about our relationship so he could get to know us better and make the experience more personal! We were assisted the whole way through planning the ceremony.We opted in for a rehearsal as well the day before. and it ran smoothly. On the day of the wedding, our officiant was Alex, did everything in his power to make sure everything went according to plan! We did a candle ceremony with our parents and it went perfectly.We couldn't have had a better experience. I recommend getting married or having celebrations at this church.

Magnificent place to worship. Peaceful. Acoustic great. Loved it.
