Interesting Christmas village during the month of December. I came here the first night when it was opened for 2022 Christmas season. Beautify lights and many small activities for kids.

**Temporary 3 stars Review**Great place to learn Canada's first industrial site history. The museum has rich details and information about the people who used to live there centuries ago from the French, British and Canadian colony/era.There are as well picnic tables, hiking trails(45 mins walk) to enjoy. And there is also the Fred Pellerin audio guide which is available for 11$ (Only in french!).When I always have a tour in Park Canada's historic sites I am always amazed by my tour guides as they teach me new stuff. However, on the 02/10/2021 at 2:10 pm, I felt that the visit was instead a question period instead of a tour guide. Instead of teaching us new stuff, our guide gave us 10 minutes to explore the room. At the end of the 10 mins, if no questions were asked, we changed room. However, I must admit that at the end (maquette room) He gave us a little bit of information after the video. However, I do believe that the video gave us more information than the tour guide that I had on this day.In the end, it was probably the tour guy that was not entertaining that day. I am willing to come back and have another tour. I would then give it a 4 stars review if things will be different from my previous tour.Still, the museum is still worth to learn new stuff about Canada's history. Give it a try!:)

Great for showing how Canada's metal industry started. Good grounds for walking around, self guided or just wandering. Lots of parking, reasonable entrance fees for family. Nice movie about the history of the area!

Village Québécois d'Antan
Indeed a wonderful experience! We went there during the Winter 2021 and the snow is covering the whole place and its a perfect Winter Wonderland with all the lights and small houses that make you feel that its the early 19th century. Too bad the weather is too cold for my taking so I was not able to get long exposure shots but this below should at least give you an idea. (Experience may not the usual best due the Covid Restriction) but in this day of age. What we can do is to adjust and live with it. Regardless I would still say that I enjoyed it. Its more than an hour from Montreal by the way.

A decent museum at the site of Canada's first industrial complex. I'm glad that I came here. The kids loved dressing up twice here.

Restaurant L'Ancre
In general, they have good foods and the foods are the traditional Gaspésian style. The seafood soup is must try! The linguine is absolutely amazing, the sauce is so thick and flavorful! Must try their specialties seafood dishes since they are right next to the poissonnerie and the fish might be fresh off the boat!
