Sportsman's Lodge Wilderness Resort
After a 2 hour snow machine trip we blew the clutch on one of our machines. Thankfully we were right beside the Sportsman Lodge. The kindness shown to us by everyone there was so heart warming. While my daughter and I enjoyed the warmth of their fire an a hot chocolate, Jim was outside with my husband fixing our machine. This northern Ontario hospitality makes me proud to be a Northerner. Thanks again to Jim and staff for saving our day!!!

We built a custom cabin in 2020. Both Paula & Michael were excellent in assisting with the design and always available during our construction phase. We were so impressed that we also purchased a custom shed & bunkie package.

Woodworks Log Home Restoration

LOVE, love love!! We had a blast taking one of the white water courses offered during the summer in Missinippi. Wonderful teachers, patient and SKILLED!! I will DEFINITELY recommend any of the instructors and courses to anyone who will listen!!

Stewart's Lodge & Camps
Cancellation policy was never explained to me on the phone when calling in. Charged my credit card $100 deposit without authorization, and with over a week's notice, when having to cancel the trip to Bella Coola due a severe and expensive vehicle breakdown, refused to refund this amount. Will be charging back with my credit card company. Poor, greedy, customer service at the peak of tourism season when they have incurred likely no loss from holding my reservation for that date ... which was made only a few days ago.

Whitemouth River Campground
On our cross country move. We called here last min for an RV/tent spot. These people were so great. They were very friendly and found us à spot to park our 40ft cargo trailer and truck. Rather than having to put up our tent and pull all our stuff out of the trailer they kindly rented us à fully supplied small cabin right on the river. It was so nice after driving for almost 9hrs to not have to worry about anything but going to bed. Wish I could give more then 5 stars. Truly à lovely place run by some great people.

Crooked Lake Resort
Crooked Lake resort is a really beautiful off-grid resort tight on the shore of Crooked Lake with rustic, cosy cabins. The view is absolutely gorgeous. Al and Kim are great hosts. A really great spot to come and enjoy nature.

Copper mountain painting
If you have a painting job that you're not comfortable doing on your own, then Copper Mountain Painting is for you. I have a landing going upstairs in my house with high walls and I am not a fan of heights. Copper Mountain Painting completed the job with ladders, etc., in 1 day. Price was competitive and job done in a day.

The lodge maintains a rustic style of camping. There is a hot tub. Sauna is in the process of being built. Great place for fishing, kayaking, or to be in nature. This lodge was the beginning of my journey of squirrel taxidermist.
